Played a bit of a random Paladin deck, coming across a Malygos Rogue of all things.
Half-way through the game I played a Hydrologist and one of the options was Eye for an Eye.
Normally I'd never take that Secret but since I knew I was playing against a Malgyos Rogue, I figured it might come in handy once my opponent got low enough. And that's exactly what happened. Right back in his face. Secret value!

You're confusing relative strength with absolute strength. Because something else is stronger does not make the thing weaker.
Deathstalker Rexxar was weak all of 2017.
It only was strong after
Pirate warrior rotated
Kazakus Priest Warlock, and Mage rotated
Murloc Paladin rotated
Jade decks rotated
Cubelock got nerfed
Odd Paladin got nerfed
Even Paladin got nerfed
All 7+ Druid decks got nerfed
Shudderwock Shaman got nerfed
Quest Rogue was nerfed again
Kingsbane Rogue got nerfed
Deathstalker Rexxar's absolute strength isn't that high. It's that most of the other decks rotated or were nerfed and dropped under it.

Big Priest in Wild? Who really cares? Whining about a deck that has 1 win condition is pretty bad. Sure Turn 3-4 is a high roll but there are plenty of counters. Then it's game over for them. If you had to mulligan for 1 card to beat a whole deck then that deck is not too concerning.
Besides it's wild. You have cards like Devolve and Dirty Rat. LOL.
How on earth is Dirty Rat a counter to Big Priest? To pull his Lich King on turn 2? Your game plan is really "next level"! O.O

It seems like for most people the issue here is how Barnes is used in Big Priest. So as I've stated on these topics before, if Barnes is to be nerfed he should summon a 1/1 "Actor" token and grants the Actor the card text of a minion in your deck. Barnes's text could read something like:
"Battlecry: Summon a 1/1
Actor and give it the
Effect of a minion
in your deck."
So it's basically the same idea BUT it actually falls more in line with the flavor of the card since you are summoning an Actor that is "playing the role of [Insert Minion Here]". AND when used in Big Priest, it weakens your resurrection pool because the Actor would be come back as a simple 1/1 with no text, since the text (or "role") the Actor token is given comes from Barnes's battlecry.
You'd still have issues like Spell Hunter using Barnes into 1/1 Actor "Y'shaarj" into actual Y'shaarj. But again, if the main concern is Big Priest, my suggestion would help lower the power level of that deck while also enhancing the card's overall flavor.

Fave was boomsday, BUT BOTH WW AND RASTAKHAN SUCKED SO BAD! Baku and genn were the two worst abominations ever

If it's not the nerf patch, why should a non-nerf patch change much about the meta?
Click on the daily graph and look at the per day listing. Hunter started it's rise up before the nerfs were even announced. Since the nerfs, they've been on a slow but steady decline. Meanwhile priest is nearly as common as hunter.

Depends on matchup heavily. Rexxar is great against slow decks without win condition like Odd Warrior. Many matchups he is useless in because he is too slow. Against tempo or combo decks you don't want to even draw Rexxar because it's a dead card in your hand.
Have been playing hunter for a long time and I can tell you many times Rexxar doesn't do anything. There are specific matchups where he is totally OP (slow control decks) but tempo/combo completely crushes you if you try to play slow game and drop Rexxar and then start building zombeasts, you will be dead before you can even create and play any useful zombeast.
Guldan is much stronger which you can see in wild format where power level is higher.

Seriously guys pay attention to what devs are publicly saying. They have said in recent interview that they are looking at Genn/Baku and would like to have a solution by the time rotation hits. So it's very likely Genn/Baku nerf is happening in month or two.

I can't take videos with auto generated voice seriously. Either use your own voice or don't make videos. Have a skin in the game.

Yeah that warrior deck is annoying and not very skill based. So complaining when you play this deck seems a bit off.

Playing against Big Priest who keeps emoting me. I keep clearing and devolving his big minions, he keeps resurrecting.
Then I play Loatheb. Then I Zola my Loatheb. Next turn I play Zihi, next turn I Loatheb again, clear his board. Next turn I Shudderwock.
He goes back to 5 mana and his spells cost +10 next turn. Oh and btw Shudderwock creating full board of Jade golems. Deal with this Mr Big Priest, Spirit Lash is 12 mana :D

Tbh people have been teching against Odd Pali as it's supposedly best deck in post nerf meta. I have even been putting Dragonmaw Scorcher into random decks just to have better matchup agaist odd pali.
