    So I have been playing this deck for a week now, and I came back to this post to say thanks!! I <3 this deck!
    its fun, its different and its good, all at the same time! I can see this deck moving up in tiers after the new announced nerfs come in.

     they need to just put dirty rat into the classic set 
     I think this is an amazing idea! instead of removing stuff from classic all the time, ad some answers that proved themselfs worthy in prior expansions. Dirty Rat is the perfect example! I vote yes for adding Dirty rat to classic set :)

    Thanks Brian you explain it alot better then I do, someone should give this guy an award. I for one really hope someone at blizzard is paying attention.

    Quick Edit: You might want to make your polls at least slightly less biased because I know what you are talking about it's just that you are wrong in most cases. You can have your opinion, just doesn't make it objectively right that it would be beneficial or the like for the game.

    Dude, I have an opinion. But you cant say someones opinion has to be objective. The pol gives two oposite options and you can clearly see they are made with a wink. I'm just as bias as you are in your response. But maybe you taking things abit to serious...

    Also Im ok to agree to disagree, but no need to play it on the person, just because you dont like his opinion!

     first off, thanks for responding. But to clarify! I dont say remove battlecry, combos or deathrattle or any other cool interactions. And only play with minions, who wants this??? I sure dont!

    Just to get it clear, I said to make sure that these interactions have a decent answers and move away from being merely a spectator to your game while the other has all the moves and answers. There comes a power creep with these kind of mechanics.

    For people who are saying, these decks are not a porblem, just by looking at the winrate, and the expansion has only just begun. Exactly that, the expansion has only just begon. Big chance you will see this problem increase the power creeping up when more cards come out later this year...
    Also I dont think agro is brainless, just facehunter! :P And Im actually glad there are agro decks, or the problems would be huge, you woudnt be able to counter shudderwock for instance.
    Cutting down in animation time is also a good addition to remove less spectator time :D
    I get where you are coming from. That feeling of hopelessness as your opponent has answer after answer, or pulls off a combo that is so grossly overpowered it feels like or literally is the case that is nothing you can do. 
     Thank god atleast somone understands where I am coming from :D

    Hi guys,

    As a huge Hearthstone fan since the beta, I would like to describe how my favoured turn based game is supposed to go.

    My opponent does something, I react to that move, he responds and I try to do the math and counter that response. Etc etc etc.. until the end of the game, where is decided that the best player has won the match. Or you had bad RNG because you did not get to draw your needed counter, and this I can definitely live with. So keep this in the back of your mind for a minute…

    In the past we had the arch type of Quest mage, this would stall your game, freeze your minions until it had his lethal requirements in the hand. From that point there was nothing you could do except spectate, until it played out, yes some turns you were allowed to play something on the board.. but it wouldn’t take long for a frost nova and doomsayer..

    So don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying these decks are not fun to play, or don’t require any skills to play, because they do, but I do say it’s absolutely NO fun to play against. I don’t get to play my full potential, because half of the game I can’t make any choices to counter anything. You basicly feel helpless..

    With Ice block out of the way I thought to myself, thank god that is out of the way. we won’t see this deck or gameplay on standard anymore. And Oooh boooy was I wrong.

    Lately new architypes have arrived, and they do exactly the same as Quest mage did in the past.

    Now we have Shudderwock Shaman and Taunt Druid with Hadronix what gets resummend by . If you thought it was annoying to play against Big Resurrect priest, try playing against a wall of taunts that get summoned back multiple times, just way too often.

    You might say, Shudderwock is nothing like Quest Mage, well there I think you are wrong. It’s exactly the same, instead of frost nova they clear boards with Lightning Storm or Volcano! Until they reach their lethal requirement and play Shudderwock, again you can spectate your game and do nothing.

    There is no counter if your deck is also playing the slow game!

    So this forces people to no other option then playing brainless decks like Facehunter or other super aggressive decks, like Tempo Face Rogue or Agro Paladin. Because the only way to win from these annoying decks it to kill them before turn 6! So if you want to play control your shit out of luck when you run in to the decks I mentioned earlier.

    And I get it now, this does create a sense of gameplay, that looks like rock-paper-scissors!

    So why am I making this post and saying enough is enough blizzard. We have to draw a line somewhere. Every mechanic should have a counter, basically charge vs taunt. Or deathrattle vs silence. The options are endless. And thank god most mechanics have.

    But we should never be merely spectators to our match and have no control on the outcome. For me this happens in the most decks I mentioned earlier, and it also describes why face(brainless)hunter for me falls in the same category. But at least Face hunter can be dealt with. I know I’m oversimplifying things, and it isn’t hard to read this and start nit-picking on little things. But overall, in the broader sense  you should be able to get the picture of what I’m trying to get across here.

    I am curious, what do you guys think, in your opinion, is this something Blizzard should address now or in the near future?
    And if so feel free to post any suggestions on how to do this. Please leave your vote and comment below to elaborate on your vote.

    Nah I dont agree, changing decks to the meta is probable the worst advice you can get. To climb the ladder you should stick with your deck and change tech cards accordingly to the meta. You cant keep changing your deck because you encounter 18% hunters, also other decks will probable get other Match Making games.

    Last but not least, I dont always have to win from Hunters, but with the suggested changes I changed my 80% loss to a 50-50 chance.
    This made me win the last 3x from the last 5x I encountered Facehunter. Feels good man!

    This post can be closed it served its perspose,maybe some other locks will get some good advice from it, like Casdya posted above, thanks for informing us about this.

    Yea I dont want to change to much and make me weaker to the other matchups on the ladder.
    As it is now, Facehunter is 18% of my matches.

    So I was just posting here, to ask help on how to deal with facehunters and I read your post.
    Seeing that I have the deck code next to me, I might as well share this with you.
    So far it got me to rank 4 and I'm pretty sure it will take me further this season.

    If you have to make hard choices on what to drop because of the lack of dust.. I would craft the follow cards last or not at all:

    Ratcatcher& Prince Taldaram.

    Spiritsinger Umbra is prob not manditory but its a lot of fun to have in this deck. Hope this helps you out a little.
