I think elementals have a little more counter play, suppose the other player plays an elemental, now you know he's probably going to try to play another next turn. So now it's the perfect moment for you to play a big threat, given that either he will not be able to answer it or he will answer it and fuck up the elemental synergy.
So you are telling me you want to play a N'zoth deck which is uncounterable? Nice design..
Tbh there is counterplay if you think they might have hard removal play a more spread board rather than one big card..
first of all, clearly you have not read the thread, or at least focus on the wrong one, iv talked about the N'zoth issue. and 2nd as a stated, the issue with removal like this is the only way to counter it is to play another type of deck, an aggro curve deck... which is what everyone is playing.. i tried to make a 2nd thread so that people would focus on the issue, but ADMINS won't let me, so i am forced to speak in this RANT thread which was not entirely thought out... please check out my post on page 2 at the very bottom for the real debate
So you hate transforming effects I see.. yeah they are kinda lame sometimes but they are a good answer for greedy decks which are also quite bad for the game, it's a bad design to not have counters to cards.. except a board or something and it's good design to have counter play and answers and playing around them I played around a lot of those a lot of times sometimes even playing tirion into entomb.. but why? cause I deleted the priest ability to play something else, I played tirion, then droppedd boom or 2nd challenger or something (for some reason I remember that game it was long ago) yes I knew he probably had entomb all along but the winning play was playing into it to win.
Transform effects are there so some effects which give you big value or win the game (10 mana cards!) don't go out of control.. some paladin players kill off their own murlocs which I think it's a good thing it's a way to further ytour game plan and such strategy ENRICHES the game..
also transform effects punish buffs.
Your concern is mostly probably about the high tempo they offer or the feel bad of "silence" but this is a neccesity every card game has hard removal in it.. try TES:Legends or shadowverse such stuff exists also there (banish of havencraft or odin if you know the game)
but, what counters transform cards?? you said yourself that good card design is having counters cards, but nothing counters transform effects
Minions that can't be targeted by spells, minions that summon splited in several bodies... Still when aggro shaman it's running two Hexs something it's wrong with the card.
Reno. I hate reno cause RNG. You have him on 6? Win. No? Lose. Most part of ur deck is garbage, and reno is super OP. RNG draw is more important in these cases.
I am surprised moderators haven't just started removing these threads as soon as they are opened. Getting really fucking annoying seeing the same thread topic pop up by some salty player every couple of days.
2 Azure Drakes and only Excavated Evil dealing damage? Surely Loot Hoarders would be better then, if they are for card draw (can get them from Barnes). Otherwise add Holy Novas as well.
I feel that adding so many 2 drops would worsen the revive aspect of the deck too much.
With the azure drake at least I got an ok body to contest the board.
Still remember rogue been called dead by a LOT of people before MSG...
Rogue is called dead for every expansion. I really haven't figured out why, but that's the pattern. I'm sure it will be "dead" for this expansion too.
Yeah but this time Conceal and Tomb Pillager rotated along with Miracle's consistency....................
People said Rogue and miracle were dead after both leeroy and gadgetzan were nerfed, yet somehow it survived just fine. There was a time that conceal wasn't a staple in miracle rogue, and Miracle was around before Tomb Pillager existed. Neither of them are vital to the deck.
I never said it was dead.
I said now the deck is incredibly inconsistent, because now you have no way of protecting Edwin or Questing Adventurer. That's their win condition. If you leave it vulnerable like that the win-rate will drop significantly.
I'm sure someone will find a way to add more threats to not just rely completely on those three cards.

Been experimenting with this deck now:
It holds it's own against pirate warriors, but against other more mid range games it looses.
Any suggestion on how it can be improved?

Hi, I'm currently trying to make a viable revive priest deck with the new gadgetzan cards, but looking in the deckbuilder I couldn't find any.
Have you tried something like that recently and want to share it here?
