I just hit someone for 42 dmg on turn 8...... This describes pretty well the current state of BGs..... I can't count how often I was just kicked out of the lobby by some insane highrolling people.
First game after a long time! New Patch, new Heroes, new Minions. Got to play both - a new Hero with the new Elementals. Even though I screwed up a bit since I missunderstood "Nomi, Kitchen Nightmare", it worked out insanely good. I think Ragnaros is one of the best new Heroes and combined with windfury/divine shield Elementals even more powerfull!
In this video I would like to show you a different way of playing Tess. The most played - and in most situations the best way - is to play the normal curve (Level on Turn 2, 5 and 7 and use your Heropower if you see something you want from your opponent). In this game I think it was the best play to stay on Tier one for a couple of more turns and break the normal curve. Since you know what your last opponent played, and you can see what your next opponent is going to play, and both have to offer what you are already playing yourself, it can give you a huge powerspike in the early game. It works probably the best with Murlocs, but maybe aswell with Wrath Weavers + Demons or just Cat tokens.
My first game with Brann worked out pretty well. I think he well be one of the better Heroes, since battlecry minions offer you so many possible builds like Murlocs, Dragons or Menagerie. It also allows you to triple pretty easy. All in all he feels just really strong.
Got to try the new Hero Tess Greymane and instantly won the lobby. It doesn't feel as broken as Hooktusk did, but I am sure that Tess is gonna be one of the best Heroes right now. Especially in the lategame her Heropower gives you almost infinite Value. In combination with the new Amalgodon it is just broken. Also she has a huge flexibility during midgame, you can easily pivot to another build that probably will do better in the upcoming fight. I think you should play her on normal curve, maybe stay a turn more on tier 3, depending on your opponents warband and then try to hit as many triples as you can.
For me Millificent is a solid Hero to pick to go for Top 3-4, if nothing better is offered. But somtimes she can win you a game even on higher ranks. Since the new Goldgrubber Pirate you can even better stay on Tier 4 for the whole game.
I don't really like Heroes that work with a specific minion type, but this round was pretty fun tbh. When you hit a Pirate on turn one and 3 (Leveling on 2) he can even win against strong early game heroes.

From Zero to Hero - Maiev is one of the best Heroes right now. See how you can curve out with him while getting offered a swabbie (or three :D )

Illidian is a tough one, but did it on my 4th or 5th try with this deck, works pretty good. Maybe Priest Quest is considerable?
