I'm only missing 22 of the cards. Any good replacements?

Setoxsc posted a message on Whizbang AnimationPosted in: Card DiscussionMy wife and I were reeeeally excited to see and play this card. (As are many people including the design team!) We are both f2p and it is a great opportunity to try out new decks and cards.
During the reveal stream, Day9 and Mike showcased what it's like to actually use him and to tell the truth, we are very dissapointed that there isn't any animations regarding Whizbang. Just like Baku and Genn, we feel Whizbang should get a game startup animation. What's the point of crafting Whizbang but never seeing him again for the rest of the game.. ever?
My personal suggestion/choice would be that he says " This will be wonderful!", while spiraling rainbows (just like in his art) create/place the deck for you in the deck slot. This way you actually feeeel like you're using the card, as will your opponent.
Tldr: Whizbang should have a startup animation for each game like Baku and Genn.

IambicAvenger posted a message on Dean Ayala on Shudderwock: Revisiting the Topic Early Next WeekPosted in: NewsAll of the draw that Shaman has access to leaves them with no tempo or awful tempo. Aggro and tempo/midrange decks will consistently beat Shudderwock OTK decks because they’re so slow and inconsistent. You need three battlecries and a reduced cost card to set up the OTK, and sometimes you also need either the Primordial Drake or various freeze battlecries to keep from dying on the turn you set up Shudderwock.
It’s frustrating to play against that long chain of animations when you lose, but the deck is weak. A reactionary nerf to Shudderwock would ruin what is a very interesting, powerful effect card in a class that needs cool, powerful stuff. Shudderwock has seen very limited experimentation, and there may be lots of more consistent and more interactive decks for him.

kwikill posted a message on Dean Ayala on Shudderwock: Revisiting the Topic Early Next WeekPosted in: NewsThe problem with this is that its not your "traditional" OTK combo, in that you have to have all the pieces in hand (thus handicapping your play until you have all the pieces), you just have to eventually draw and play them, so it really does just become solitaire with only aggro countering it.

Redshed2017 posted a message on Three New Card Reveals -Â Mossy Horror & MorePosted in: NewsHa ha ha ha, Wait your serious? The card in its current state is definitely up for debate, but with divine shield on every one of its tokens? A 4/4 divine shield is worth around 4 mana, which then summons 2 shielded minibots (4 mana total), then summoning 4 argent squires? 4 mana of value. Thats at least 12 mana of value and then you factor in the fact that you don't have to draw all those cards.

This reminds me of Mekgineer Thermaplugg

The Shudderwock Shaman is very interesting. On the surface it's a pretty weak deck, it loses to aggro/midrange hard more often than not, and needs a lot of cards to pull off the OTK. However, in slower control matchups there is basically no counterplay against this deck. It just wins when it draws the combo pieces. This makes the deck pretty oppressive and horrendous to play against as control. even before taking into account the animation times haha

To make this deck a bit faster, I replace hot spring guardian with mana tide totem, and healing rain wtih nightmare amalgam. I think primalfin lookout feels kind of slow too.

I will continue to speak with my money by throwing it at Blizzard in order to support them NOT changing the game in whatever vague ways you have described here.
Hearthstone has its issues, like any game, but it is a great game, and the card text, art, and mechanics are GREAT at best. Buying cards is how card games have always monetized, and I'm perfectly fine with it. This AAA game is the best!
You can see these opinions are biased and subjective? Nobody is wondering why they are upping the "free" packs you get when buying an expansion, lol. Nor is more free packs anywhere close to a supporting argument for a boycott of Hearthstone (I mean what?!) I can't even tell exactly what you want from this post. Do you want Blizzard to just make cards OP in your eyes? Do you want them to make it all free and not be able to pay their employees or turn a profit? I don't get it. You are surely of a minority opinion on this one bud. Best of luck.

It's like the Rogue quest, except it's not a quest and only costs 6 mana.

WANTED!
Makes for a very lackluster auctioneer turn. Too clunky and slow against aggro, and hardly useful. This card will need some serious synergies with the rest of the expansion to even hope to be competitively viable.
2
Scaleworm
Establishes board control, alleviates pressure from aggro. A potentially strong addition to Dragon control, but doesn't come close to competing with its 4 mana counterpart in Duskbreaker.

I all too often find myself with a super awkward hand full of secret keeper & cloaked huntress, but no secrets. Just Kill Command and Houndmaster, but no beasts.

I have to disagree, depending on how it works with the other cards in the expansion of course. Just comparing it outright, ravaging ghoul provides a 3/3 body, and Warpath is a 2 mana whirlwind that you can play multiple times. Warrior, generally speaking, has enough whirlwind effects and board clear, and aside from a fatigue deck, you generally don't want to be spending an entire turn just casting whirlwind, right? But definitely could work out as a meta card, just depends on how the rest of the expansion works around it I think.
