After seeing Baron Rivendare getting no love in standard, I took it upon myself to let him shine. Is it a good? Well.... It's super cool, I'll tell you that! It took us 24 tries, but we managed to do it. I present to you. The 15 mana, 8 card, 34 damage, standard Baron Rivendare OTK. Thank god priest is so slow!  This combo only set us back about eight thousand legend ranks :)

We did it guys. We started our Priest to legend journey in low plat, and decided we would prove its the best class in the game. Mostly playing the Flesh Giant Priest version, where we managed to finish with a 64% win rate, over 64 games played. This class is more then just a power house in high legend. It's great everywhere. You just have to take the time to learn the deck and match ups. The video below is my brief deck breakdown, along with a great game we had vs Dexter's big paladin list and our final boss! You can check my rush warrior, I just posted it today. It is indeed different. It also plays different to some degree. 

I gotta say I havent faced many Priests pre legend. My first loss (so far only) to priest was at legend.

Armorsmiths are turning ppl crazy for some reason. Haha

I gotta Play for max value when facing priest, like going for 2 kargath prime and such. Also you must drop (buffed) samuro before mindreader comes into Play.

Fighting priest is awesome cuz of the decision making involved  with rush warrior. Going  ham dosnt  work

 Every deck is better in the hand of an experienced player. Why just Priest or Patron Warrior?

 It gave me another idea I tried for a few games. It could work. It's mill priest. You run mukla, the 4 drop 5/5 which discovers a card and makes your opponent draw it too, the 2 drop 2/3 that draws a card for both players and the banana dudes. You can mill people. You don't really have a win condition though.

 The problem is that Mage is also almost a 100% chance of losing so you can said "is enough for legend" but actually not. Even kibler quit the deck after trying very hard to stick to it and said that the meta is not good for relay on slow decks without inevitability. Which is exactly what spell mage is. Maybe Corrupt priest can have a little more of chances for the surprise factor but is not really that better. You need to understand that 30% of priest power right now is literally getting soul mirror from renew and palmreading or similar high power spells and your opponent dont playing around it.  Maybe can literally bea priest just playing removal and keeping 1 big minion without 5 attack on board. That alone make almost any priest hand useless without overkill plays.

i try a lot of different builds, tech cards. There is not way priest is better than mage or warlock. And those are sadly matches that you need to win atleast 1 of 5 times to progress consistenly. Either you play a million of matches per day or just quit priest. High Rank ladder is Way different from gold, plat or diamond. People just spamm the safest deck in those ranks. In legend or high diamond? they try to do other stuff cause surprise factor again but people dont go into one trick surprise deck. They change of deck constanly. In short: nope Priest is not on a good spot.

Priest is horrible on ladder and will be for the next two years. It is not viable to play a deck where you have to concede at least 10% or possibly more of your games. The only reason it's viable on high legend is less warlocks. The deck is basically worthless on ladder and can't win. I have tried and tried and gotten great win rates vs meta decks, but having to concede 20% of games is not viable. I have had to concede 5 games against warlocks within 10 games yesterday. Despite winning over 60% vs other decks, I drop from D1 to D5 trying to play priest since of all the warlocks.

You aren't allowed to play priest in this meta and won't be allowed to until they remove jarraxus from the core set, which is at least two years but possibly it stays as it is.

But since I am on D5 and won't bother hitting legend this month until after the nerfs, I may as well try this hot garbage lol.
