It doesn't work. It's like Sherazin, Seed or the Nether Portal while it's dormant, you can't interact with it at all until your opponent draws the three candles.
Let's keep in mind that this card doesn't gain attack through a battlecry, so you can play it on turn six, for example, and then play some discard effect like soulfire to buff it.
I just unpacked The Voraxx. My question is: if I run a Token Druid deck with this, will The Voraxx summon the plant with my buffs? For example if I play Mark of the Lotus with The Voraxx on board, will I also get a 2/2 plant, or will that not happen because I didn't specifically *target* The Voraxx?
As long as I won't get guarateed 10 packs for my 1000 gold I will totally ignore this type of brawl.
It's actually surprising that this brawl is lucrative for Blizzard and it'll go into a 3rd round. Why are that many people wasting their money?
The only thing you are saying is that you are not willing to enter in a high-risk high-reward mode because, well, is a high-risk high-reward mode. Nothing to discuss here. Other people do like this kind of stuff, and it's seems to be a number of players significant enough to bring this brawl again, this time with Wild Cards and just a month after Un'Goro got released so people don't call this a cash-grab.
People went paranoid about the amount of duplicates they got, not about pity timer. You seem to have low-rolled the pity timer 2 times in a row which, I know, sucks and I would like to see this reduced a bit but, hey, at least you have another legendarie guaranteed in 5 packs...
I have to say that Dirty Rat is a decent counter against Quest Rogue. If you have something else on board or a spell to deal with the minion you pull, you can screw up their plans.

The card gets upgraded only while is in your hand.

But still, seems pretty bad.

He wasn't saying his voice line when the game starts and the 5 legendaries are shuffling into your deck.

Probably bug fixes.
Anyway, I wish they would have released patch notes. It's annoying getting these "silent" patches.

Remember when people were saying that this quest was trash?
