So i am offering a friend free 80 gold. I pick my meme C'Thung/Nzoth priest. And what am i playing against? Fucking murloc paladin. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
So i have a quest for playing 20 deathrattles minions. Let's throw some quick N'Zoth rogue and go to Wild Casual. What do i see there? Fucking secret paladin. Because, sure, why the fuck not. Also has almost a perfect curve. Secret Keeper -> Minibot -> Mustard. Then he played MC on turn 6. Of course. Has letal on board, but no, i'll BM you some more. People, Wild is a vast ocean of possibilies, why do you play Secret Paladin in Casual? Just why?
At first i read the description and thought: "That's kinda nice" . Then i noticed a dragon and an orange gem. So one of Warrior's legendaries in this set is wasted on this. /smh
This meta is so fucking awful. Cheated out never ending Doomguards to your face + bullshit taunts. Face mages who prevent you from playing anything. Look at me, i am so skilled, Barnes on turn 3 into Y'Shaarj who pulls Obsidian Statue, turn 4 Eternal Servitude 10/10 Y'Shaarj who summons Lich King. Paladins who vomit out their hand + Call to Skill & Skill Favor. I am so fucking done until april.
Well, it was expected. My Reno Mage won't be affected obviously, my standard elemental mage does not use any secrets to begin with. Personally it's fine. Playing against mages in the new standard year will simply be easier.
Right now at ranks 10+ my personal meta looks like this ~30% warlocks, ~20% mages. The rest is more or less spread evenly between remaining classes. Also
If you believe Wild is a "magical land" of different decks, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. All the decks you encounter in Standard will still be there.
Aggro Paladin exists, but is much more hyper-aggressive.
I could go on. The only viable exclusively Wild deck which is unplayable in Standard is Giants Warlock, which is even more of an autopilot deck than Big Priest. It's incredibly unsatisfying to win with, or of course lose to on turn 5-6.
I prefer Wild to Standard because I enjoy having a larger array of cards to play with, but I'm just being honest with you here. Don't expect Wild to be much different from Standard.
So, i am playing against Jade Dudu in WIld. Board state. I am 3 Hp, but have Ice Block up from Kabal Courier. On my side i have 14/10 Void Terror and 2 Thaddius'es. Opponent is at 15 hp and has 8/4 damaged Jade Golem on his side. So, my opponent hits me in the face. My Ice Block triggers. Then he drops Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. What happened next, was pretty much why there's Hope's End in his title.

Losing to NSW Giants Warlock on turn 5 is fun and interactive.
Seriously, Blizzard needs to revert the NSW change.

Moonglade Portal on my opponent's face (so he is at 21 now), which summoned Sylvanas Windrunner.
Ultimate Infestation on Sylvanas Windrunner. So he's at 26, and also steals one of my Thaddius.
Some paladin secret.
Freezing Potion on my remaining Thaddius.
Unwilling Sacrifice on his Jade Golem which actually kills my Void Terror.
And that's it. Also that fucker had audacity to "My greetings" me after that.
I felt sooooooo cheated, i had no words for like 10 minutes straight.

So, i am playing against Exodia Mage in Wild. Things are going fine, then...
Ice Block
Created by Cabalist's Tome
Seriously, fuck that shit.
And next turn it's apprentices + Antonidas. Of course.

I am not sure about the "fun" part, but basically Prophet Velen, Mirage Caller, Mind Blastx2 with one tick from Emperor Thaurissan.
Fill the rest of the deck as you see fit.
