    Psycho Sisters

It's all about chance and reward. Is it worth to have two of these in your deck? Should you keep one of them on your initial hand? Double 2/2 on turn 1 for zero mana is pretty good...

    Necromancer

I wanted to mix Warlock and Priest and a necromancer just felt like the perfect way to do it since it's a combination of dark magic + resurrection (in this case, the minion is resurrected into your hand).

Next: A card that gives all classes the ability to use a weapon (yes, there is Blingtron 3000, but I want to see something more reliable and less RNG)
    Defias Smuggler
Next: A minion that does something on your turn and something else on your opponent's turn.

Oh man, that's was REALLY unexpected!!!

Thanks to everyone who voted for my card and, once again, congratulations to all the finalists!

I just want to say a few things about the idea behind Exorcism. Some people said it should have been something like a conditional silence. Well, the idea behind the card was that it would deal with deathrattle only. A conditional silence in the way that was suggested by McF4rtson could still silence other things like divine shield, taunt and buffs. That would be no different than a regular silence and I agree with the game designers who once said that silence is just an easy way to deal with something. Players should be incentivized to find the best ways possible to deal with a given problem instead of simply casting a spell as soon as your turn begins.

With that in my mind, I do believe 2 damage is the right amount for that card. As I said in a previous post, cards with the "if that kills it" condition should do little damage or else the condition would simply trigger all the time. Also, dealing 3 damage would make it as powerful as Frostbolt, and that's exactly what I wanted to avoid. As nurgling13 quite wisely said, direct damage is Mage's thing, and there should never be a Priest card (or any other class, for that matter - just look at Darkbomb) that is directly comparable to Frostbolt. Moreover, if 2 damage is not enough to kill something right away, you can use a minion to do the initial damage and finish with Exorcism. Priest minions usually have high health and it's likely that your minion could deal the initial damage and survive, while the opponent's minion would die with its deathrattle exorcised =)

Anyway, that's what I was going for when I designed the card. I'm glad that many people liked it and I also appreciate the criticisms. Thanks again, all of you!

PS. Kinda cool to think that Ben Brode actually saw our cards!

No... if you said "silence if it has  deathrattle" there's the proper wording.
You are missing the whole point of the card... Exorcism is NOT supposed to be a silence at all. Not even a conditional one. It is supposed to deal with deathrattles, and deathrattles only. If it were to read as you wrote, Exorcism would also get rid of Tirion's divine shield, taunt and any buffs that were cast on it. That would be a completely different card and that's absolutely not what I intended when I designed it.

Next: A neutral tree minion (f.e. Ironbark Protector or Ancient of Lore)

     Arcane Oak
A minion with the word "summon" as part of its effect but without summoning another minion itself.

    Holy Dove

A Demon with an ongoing effect (like can't attack, your minions cost 1 less, etc)

Exorcism: Something between damage and silence. It is too weak and should deal 3 damage. 4/10

I'm gonna have to defend my card here =)
The only spells in the game that have the "if that kills it" effect are Mortal Coil and Bane of Doom, which deal 1 and 2 damage, respectively, and I believe 2 damage really is the limit for that kind of effect simply because that kind of effect should be limited. That makes you think more about how you are gonna do the damage and trades in order to benefit from the card's effect.  If a card like that dealt a lot of damage, you would simply kill most minions without having to think about it. That is especially true in Priest, since they have a very common card, Velen's Chosen (and Azure Drake, in Dragon Priest) which give spell damage +1.
That being said, I'm glad my card made it into the finals in my first ever participation! Good luck to everyone!

    Epiphany

I'm not sure what the mana cost for this card should be. Sure, if you summon a 7 mana Dr. Boom this card is completely OP, but in the other hand it could summon Shielded Minibot or Aldor Peacekeeper and you'd be sad...

    Grinch

I'm not sure if the wording is right here. The idea is that the Grinch would copy a card's original effects, deathrattles plus any buffs that were cast on it. So, if an enemy Twilight Guardian had a Velen's Chosen cast on it and the Grinch copied the effects, it would have +3 attack, +4 health, taunt  and spell damage +1.

    What do you guys think?
