Actually this is really good. Not only it is playable with Unexpected Results, but also great with most mage spells (especially burn for more reach, and AOE for the value). Will see play in most mage decks, basically tempo, big spell and probably new mage archetype
When I first saw this card, I immediately thought of Spiteful Summoner. It depends on how big is your hand so it's for slow decks. It can be an option in big spell mage or possibly in hand mage with Mountain Giants
I actually like that hero card. It reminds me of Frost Lich Jaina which is basically investing your whole turn into total value in the long term. And this hero power (even if it is pretty random) still makes use of the aura buff Dr. Boom provides, especially the "Discover a mech" one. I believe that this card (just like Frost Lich Jaina) can be thrown in any control warrior deck and still performs very well on its own, without relying on a lot of mechs in your deck.
Premium stats, pretty good effect, and helps most after playing Shadowreaper Anduin since you will need more turns to finish off your opponent, and this healer synergises with the hero power since he's cheap
And good news for Tempo Mage haters out there : This card plays around Pyroblast and only for 3
(If you ask how, this card can allow rogue to go immune to fatigue and generate infinite threats as well, e.g. Fal'dorei Striders, Valeera the Hollow shenanigans...)
1-cost minions that are not 1-drops are usually too bad to be played in constructed, so I don't think this will see play unless in some weird combo about mechs.
I don't feel really good about this one existing. I mean, when your opponent can immediately trigger deathrattles, it go very bad for the meta. I mean look at how cards like Play Dead and Dark Pact shaped the meta in the past. If not for them (and some other cards), Recruit Hunter wouldn't be here and Cubelock wouldn't be terrorizing the ladder back in the KnC meta.
This is already starting to annoy me every time I think about comboing it with Devilsaur Egg or Carnivorous Cube, and it will be much more annoying in Wild.
This card will be great in a control paladin i was working on. With the right mechs this can win games by itself against aggro (if you survive long enough that is)
Best paladin secret after Avenge. Even if I believe it won't see play in constructed unless we get a new strong secret paladin deck, i consider this as a really good card in arena that you want to pick whenever you get the chance to.
