Didn't say I wasn't playing the game anymore, it's still fun. The most fun it's been in a while. I'm just not sure Warrior in its current state is healthy and I'm asking for input.
Literally not seen a single Maly priest this expansion but I'll take your word for it lol. Seen about a million control warriors and burgle rogues though.
Build a board. Brawl. Build a board, Warpath. Build a board Brawl, Warpath again. Big minion? Shield slam, shield slam, execute, execute, omega defender, omega defender... Oh and all my Mechs have rush and I can generate infinite mechs when I hit turn 7. So if SOMEHOW all those weren't enough to prevent you from playing the game, I'll build a huge Ziliax, regain whatever pittance of life you took, and stomp your board until you die on turn 387 because I have no actual wincon other than "don't let your opponent win"
I've played this deck from Rank 5 to Rank 1. It's disgusting lmao. I don't see it settling out with the meta in the coming weeks but I'm open to being wrong. Aggro doesn't stand a chance because you have too many board wipes and gain obscene amounts of armor. Value decks have the best chance but can't really because of the same reason. There aren't really any combo decks right now and even so there are TWO answers to it right now! Hecklebot mainly.
Just went 4-3, three of my wins were against aggro decks. Hunter, hunter, shaman. I cut a couple cards for two Frostbolts though, find they help a lot since the deck doesn't have a lot to do on turn 2.
You'd think so... but you run a ton of board wipes. I cut a couple things for two Frostbolts, I think those are really necessary in the early game against any of the rogue decks.
I replaced a [Mass Dispel] with [Chameleos] and I'm 5-1 with the deck so far! (Rank 15-14) . It's not really a budget option and I think the other mass dispel would do fine, it's a great, fun deck. I never thought I would be playing a deck running TWO [Powered Steambot] lmao. It actually works though! 18 damage three card combo is pretty solid and it's not an easy card to kill in one turn!
Yeah, this deck just loses to priest, the most popular class by a large margin. No idea how he got 86% win rate unless he's just unbelievably lucky lmao.
Super fun deck, but I have no idea how this got top 10 to be honest. Maybe I'm just bad but it seems like it's very competent in some matchups but others, especially mage, it just seems impossible to win even if you get perfect mulligans and your opponent gets a dead hand. Putting 2 Eater of Secrets in the deck makes it much worse in almost every other matchup, but with one you don't see it often enough and just end up losing to 2 Counterspell or something. Because the deck is so anti-creature I find myself ending the game with both dooms and twisting nethers in hand with nothing to use them on because my opponent fireballs face and plays a secret, then passes with no creatures on board.
Other than the mage matchup however, it's super fun. It isn't nearly as bad against aggro decks as I thought because hey, you were going to take 10 damage anyways, why not clear their board and draw a bunch of cards while we're at it? The lack of win-cons hurts so much in decks that like going late though. Maybe we'll see some cool additions to this deck in Knights of the Frozen Throne, really looking forward to improving this because it's such a cool concept.
