here come a long post
My favorite thing about these claims is the money grab “feature” everyone claims is rampant.
LoR is very a free to play friendly, like a free legendary and arena run every week for doing your quests friendly. It can’t be not free but it’s more free player friendly.
if this game feels like a pay gate you don’t wanna spend your money on, don’t... but don’t complain. blizz has gotta make money too. you are free to develop games and hand em out like candy with no micro transactions and also no advertising cause that’s also a cash grab... just like you are also allowed to never buy dlc cause that’s a cash grab, optional skins, cash grab.
I Literally couldn’t care less about people like that. Hobbies, almost all cost money...
night out drinking... 50$ for a few hours and 4-5 drinks with tip with the added bonus potential hangover dlc for free the next day.
Round of golf... 50$ for 4 hours of “fun” not counting clubs balls tees....
Pokémon game 60$ for 80 hours of “fun”
rent a jet ski for the day 100$
wanna go snow boarding spend 100’s on gear and 50 per lift ticket.
Out for a nice dinner...2 people easy 30$ and up to 100’s or even 1000’s.
Video Games give you an unbelievable about of value for your dollar by comparison. You can play this game for free... you might not have most of the cards, but you can play BG for free, duels for free, regular game for free and if having a full collection is important to you... spend money cause that is literally what the rest of your life is going to be about for things you like, want, and need.
go for a hike, walk , swim in the lake or ocean. Spend nothing on your free time that’s 100% fine but don’t be mad at any business that wants to make money for occupying your free time with fun , for profit.

this should be at 7 mana at least tbh. even at 6 it's still ridiculously good, single-handedly turns a lost game into an easily won one.

I fucking hate demon hunter. This absolute lucky piece of shit cunt makes terrible play after terrible play - like playing Battlefiend and then playing Maiev Shadowsong on it afterwards because he forgot to play her first?! what a fucking idiot, misplays the whole game, then when he's finally completely empty on cards HE TOPDECKS Skull of Gul'dan AND THEN DRAWS ANOTHER Skull of Gul'dan WHICH ALSO HAS THE OUTCAST EFFECT. from 0 cards to 5 cards with a 3 mana discount each. what the fuck is this dumb shit card and why the fuck does it exist?!?! even at 7 mana this would be very playable its fucking retarded... needless to say i fucking lost. dumb, shit class that shouldnt exist. please at least just remove the skull, its not a balanced card. please.

you forgot rastakhan and tbh thrall counts as a skin too - that being said I like rastakhan the most

but you know that something like a silence achieves almost the same thing and this will 100% die the turn after if you ignore the enemy taunt? this is pretty much purely a finisher card and at that it doesn't achieve much more than anything with silence would. I don't think this is as OP as people make it out to be.

actually it's only a 1/16 since the first toss doesn't matter (going first or second) so it's four coin tosses to get the same thing as before. so yeah very common

Hearthstone is a free to play game, and the only way they can make money off of it is by giving players reasons to buy packs with real money. If you give out packs too easily players will not spend any money on the game anymore and it will die off very quickly because it's not profitable. If you give players all cards for a certain period of time then people just won't play until that last period where they have every card, it's the same thing.
The popularity of battlegrounds is also definitely not because it's free. Streamers that prefer to play it really don't care about the cost of the game, they have so much dust and gold piled up they can get every card from every set fairly consistently anyway. The reason they play it is because it's different and fun without them actually having to switch games and thus losing a large part of their audience.
I think the devs have already done a very fair amount of things to make hearthstone more affordable: Better preorder deals, bundles where you can get a lot of packs for cheap, the first 10 packs legendary rule, more events that hand out rewards and of course more login rewards (all five galakronds for free for EVERYONE for example). I don't see the need for any change in economy.

awesome deck! beats the shit out of any aggro deck. went up against a pirate warrior who had his 1/2 and got two 2/2s out of it turn 1 with ancharr on 3 (so basically a perfect opener) and he didn't stand a chance! still has a good chance versus slower decks though as you can resurrect your big minions and make them even bigger with the quest hero power. Especially fun is the Batterhead combo with the quest hero power because of the 6 attack, wipes almost any board and if your opponent doesn't always wipe your board it just keeps getting bigger!
thanks for sharing!

king krush stomping onto the board and then just screaming when he lands is my favourite thing

I think they've done well. Remember, Leper Gnome got nerfed from 2/1 to 1/1 and died for it, so did Abusive Sergeant. I think Sludge Slurper will suffer the same fate or at least be much less effective.
Corrupt Elementalist is still strong but costing 6 mana doesn't just mean it's more expensive, it also means it can't be played on t5 yet making shaman worse against aggro matchups because of the later turn.
Mogu Fleshshaper does evolve into a strong pool of minions but it can't be played as easily onto a small board, which also nerfs Mutate because it can't be used as much.
I think the nerfs are a safe choice to make shaman weaker but not instantly drill them into the ground. I like what they did.

you do realize you get FULL dust refunds for the nerfed cards? this has 0 impact on the money you spent.
