This seems like Jade Shaman's default 2 drop right now, you've got at least 6, maybe 8 spells that benefit from the spell power and you can generate the minion you need to meet the condition.

posted a message on Which class did get the best cards from KotFT? Rank the classes

I think Priest comes out on top, I know a lot of people aren't pleased with the Priest cards but none of them are awful at all.

    1) Anduin is one of the best Death Knights in Standard and the best Death Knight in Wild

    2) Archbishop Benedictus is a misunderstood Legendary, people have only thought about playing Archbishop on curve but I think you can wait to play Archbishop until you're in the late game and only shuffle enough cards into your deck in order to win on fatigue.

    3) Obsidian Statue is either a Discover buff or enables N'zoth and Corpse Taker.

    4) Embrace Darkness is a situational Mind Control, it's probably the weakest card in the class.

    5) Shadow Essence is enabling combo shenanigans

    6) Devour Mind is an insane value card

    7) Eternal Servitude is an insane tempo and card selection option

    8) Acolyte of Agony is the card every one is scoffing at but I think this is the sleeper card of the set, vs aggro it's basically 3/3 Taunt, Heal 3 damage and gives Priest options in the 3 drop slot where Curious Glimmerroot is awful vs aggro. Whatsmoreso the card enables Corpse Taker and a line up of 2 Acolyte of Agony, 2 Corpse Taker and 2 Sunwalker is probably no joke vs aggro.

    9) Spirit Lash is probably a Reno style card but there could be other Circle of Healing and card draw shenanigans to be had

    10) Shadow Ascendant is probably the other weak card of the set but it still isn't awful by any means

    11) Happy Ghoul is a pretty ridiculous card as you either get a 3/3 for 2 mana or if you are running the Corpse Taker builds or Priest of the Feast you just get a free body out of nowhere, also it combines with your mass removal to put a free body on the board as well.

I can't see any other class that made out as well as that, I mean there is only 1 weak spell and questionable minion compared to all of the terrible stuff that Rogue, Warlock, Warrior and Mage got.

Shaman absolutely made out alright, the 2 mana Merloc and the 2 mana draw Merloc spell are solid for The Curator value and Water Aggro and some of the other stuff seems pretty useable as well.

Needs a second Stampeding Kodo and a Ysera instead of a Lich King for more consistent The Curator pulls, I'd drop the Ragnaros

posted a message on Ranking the Death Knights for Wild

As far as wild is conernced, I think the Priest Death Knight is going to have the most impact, because all of the other Death Knights either don't have a home (like Rexxar) are too binary (like Thrall) are affected by weapon removal (like Uther) are dragged down by the class itself (like Valeera) or overlap with better cards and strategies (like Garrosh and Guldan). I mean, Quest Warrior is just going to be better than anything the Warrior Deathknight can do, it's practically a lose condition because after you Flame Strike their board, they Acidic Swamp Ooze you and then you can't gain Armor to go into fatigue anymore where the Quest Warrior Hero Power would've continued to give you value and Control Warrior has Justicaar Trueheart to give you 2xArmor. I don't know if Guldan can replace both N'zoth and Jaraxus, I suppose it's possible as new Demons are released but it's not going to work as is even if you have Mal'Ganis and company because it's only 7 health to remove before you can go face and the rest of the Demons don't really have an impact on the board or a side effect vs removal.

posted a message on New Card Reveal - Bloodworm

This is the most underrated card in the set, I think a lot of decks are going to be using Sunwalker, Blood Worms and Corpse Taker as their anti-aggro line, Life Steal is a soft Taunt because if either A) this trades for value or B) this is buffed then aggro loses the game.

Blizzard isn't under valuing Life Steal, the problem with valuing mechanics is that some have increasing and decreasing returns with minion scaling i.e. Divine Shield loses value on bigger minions and gains value on smaller minions disproportionately while Life Steal gains value on bigger minions and loses value on smaller minions instead. If this were even 5/4, it'd be a bit much. While 4/4 seems underwhelming, I think Corpse Taker and The Curator make this card very functional as a survival tool (in a lot of ways it reminds me of Antique Healbot)

Awful card, Claw + Hero Power is just as good as this for the same mana ... wtf.

It might see some play, if Corpse Taker is as good as I think it is then this is the only reasonable neutral minion to give it Life Steal and the Beast tag lets you draw it with The Curator as well.

I don't think it's playable, people already learned good minion placement from Betrayel so you're going to be losing 3 damage a lot.

Good card, in aggro it's a +2/2 buff that doubles as removal vs Taunts.

posted a message on Warrior Hero Card - Scourgelord Garrosh

Unplayable, Warrior doesn't need board control it needs value, your opponent is just going to look at you like you're stupid while he takes you into fatigue, only plays one minion at a time or destroys your weapon and laughs - the card is literally worse than Gorehowl, my god that is awful.
