posted a message on Dr.Boom vs Rag in Nzoth renolock

Piloted Shredder and Impgang Boss are a big mistake here, it's the Piloted Shredder and not the Boom Bots that are going to mess up your N'zoth turn as your N'zoth play is generally a defensive and not offensive tool to contest the board. You're just committing suicide vs aggro by playing Piloted Shredder and Impgang Boss over Refreshment Vendor and Earthenring Farseer, a 4/3 and a random two drop is often worse value than a 3/5 vs aggro and Impgang Boss can't trade with the x/3 minions it needs to so you only have one Antique Healbot for Brann Bronzebeard and worse bodies overall.

I'd think long and hard about playing Dirty Rat in Naga Sea Witch meta, and I'm pretty sure you can't beat any Priest deck without either the Leeroy Jenkins/Faceless Manipuator or Feugen/Stalagg combo (which I think is more viable now that Hex is getting nerfed) Renolock doesn't win the generic value war vs Renopriest anymore, you need an edge somwhere else or you'll just get taken into fatigue and lose - even old Elise is worth taking another look at now. Feugen/Stalagg combo has the advantage of being the best package vs Jade Druid, so I'd consider that right now.

I guarantee you Pirate Warrior isn't going anywhere in Wild because it can play Cursed Blade which is strictly better than Fiery Waraxe vs control and gives the deck a smoother curve into Bloodsail Raider and Dread Corsair, and Token Druid isn't going anywhere in WIld either because it will just cut Innervate and Flappy Bird and play the eggs instead.

Sorry if that sounds overly critical, but once you hit like rank 5+ in Wild you're going to be hating life when all you see is Jade Druids, Renopriests, Giant decks and assorted aggro decks because you're just not equipped to deal with any of it fwiw.

posted a message on [Conspiracy] Is blizzard breaking wild intentionally?

The Hunter version is unplayable, it loses to any aggro deck and most control decks fwiw because it's only consistent at assembling the combo and not surviving after it has been assembled like with Warlock.

There's broken and there's what people think is broken, if you play the deck you'll see that a Turn 5, or even turn 4, 5/5, 8/8 and 8/8 aren't enough a lot of the time because the opponent built a board over those 4 turns and can trade for at least the Naga Sea Witch and one giant. Sometimes you get rolled entirely by things as simple as Savage Roar, Bloodlust or Gentle Megasaur or Pirate Warrior's goldfish.

So if Token Druid, Token Shaman, Merloc Aggro, Midrange Paladin, Pirate Warrior, Aggro Shaman, Face Hunter, any control Priest, any control Warrior, any control Paladin all have good match ups against it what exactly is it broken against in Wild? The Druid version of the deck is getting hit with the Innervate and Spreading Plague nerfs, the Hunter version of the deck is unplayable because it can't survive after it resolves the giants and the Warlock version is arguably the only playable Warlock deck right now in the Jade Druid/Renopriest meta so I don't think it's really a big deal at all.

In truth, I think the only reason the deck wins a lot of games is because players don't identify the deck fast enough and attack the enemy to activate Molten Giants accidentally. The real strength of the deck is that people just don't see it comming from something like Rogue until it's too late, but people are just playing really sup-optimal version of the deck fwiw.

i just can't believe this, this combo is absolute BS, i'm speechless.... so now a turn 5 29/29 on board is fair? yeah sure, you won't pull it off every turn but it's really unfair when you do.

2 classes can counter it yeah, good to know for the rest.

Time to play gwent i guess

This doesn't happen, like ever, I put in 70 games today with a 44% win rate and never landed more than 2 giants on Turn 5.

posted a message on Naga Sea Witch needs to be fixed asap, it is becoming extremely toxic for Wild.

Naga Sea Witch isn't a good archetype, I played it all day until I hit the gold cap and the only reason it wins at all is because people think you're playing Renolock. Priest, Warrior, Paladin all have counters for it that are practically game winning, I had a higher win % with Renolock. Don't waste your dust on Clockwork Giants, it's all hype.

It's not as bad as people are making it out to be, altho' the deck can blow out games with a Naga Sea Witch turn a lot of the times you don't have multiple gaints, you could've played Mountain Giant on turn 4 or they answer with Light Bomb, Brawl, Equality etc. It really feels like a gimic deck in anything but Warock, which ironically is the only control deck that can't effectively answer the threat on curve.

I think Shadow Visions and Light Bomb will keep this from being a real thing once people catch on, altho' I understand there are going to be some rage inducing moments when multiple Giants get dropped on turn 4 or 5 and there's no removal in sight. I think it'll be a net positive in Wild, if for no other eason Warlock has another viable deck and Magma Giant is playable again.

posted a message on The Basic/Classic Card Nerf Hammer Thread!

I know Fireball is up there on the "too nerf" list, Alexstraza + 2xFireball and an Icebolt is always going to be problematic and the card is clearly either under costed or over statted - if they went after Hex, they can go after Fireball.

It's the best on curve aggro stop in the game, I wouldn't be surprised to see it rotated at all.

posted a message on The Naga Giants deck is at the point where if my opponent sees I'm playing either Warlock, Druid or Hunter, they just concede

I am so tired of Blizzard trying to argue that winrate % is the only determining factor in whether or not something is balanced, they trotted out this same tired argument for Quest Rogue and it still got nerfed because the deck was utter bullshit.

posted a message on Druid is virtually unbeatable and this needs to be changed fast

Anybody else think Jade Druid will be even better after the nerfs? With Pirate Warrior and Muloc Paladin being nerfed as well I don't even see a need for Innervate and Spreading Plague when the average TTK is slower than before and we have a lot of other make shift defense tools in the 5 drop slot like Druid of the Claw and Starfire.

posted a message on What do you like to lose to?

Any Zoolock, midrange aggro deck or control deck is fine by me, losing games just because the opponent went face and my mulligan couldn't keep up or they successfully played solitaire for their combo win just always feels bad man.

posted a message on Let's explain why THE NEW CHANGES SUCK!

Jade Druid wasn't popular last expansion because Quest Rogue was, the meta didn't need a worse Quest Rogue to oppress control but after Quest Rogue was nerfed and Druid gained gained ridiculous board control and card advantage tools the deck went nuts.

posted a message on What Will Be The Most Powerful Card In Standard After Nerfs?

Doomsayer, in a world without Fiery Waraxe on 2 I'd bet top dollar that Doomsayer is going to become the staple 2 drop for control vs aggro - altho' we all know it's going to be another 3 months of Jadestone because Blizzard can't balance for shit and just nerfed all of the decks that kept it in check.

Eh, I'm not on board with this change, the Frog having Taunt makes Hex quite a bit worse than Polymorph because you have to invest resources into the token.
