As someone who uses Reno Jackson regularly, I think it's a very necessary fix. Normally, if you put Reno in your deck, you're going to know if his effect will trigger, but what if your opponent plays something like Beneath the Grounds? What if you are playing as a Priest and Entomb a minion that you already have in your deck? What about weekly brawls with pre-made or random decks? You're going to want to know if his effect will trigger so you can plan accordingly.
Edit: Tyler0urd3n mentioned Golden Monkey, great example.
Does anyone else think the cards shown here give off a "Themed Deck" vibe something similar to what you would see in a pre-made store-bought Yu-Gi-Oh deck? (Not a complaint, I like it)
Could be a fun way to play with friends. Each choose a premade deck. Might be fun to test out some crappy lock and load deck if you knew your buddy was similarily handicapped. I would guess they'll give brand new decks each week with the new tavern brawl just to keep things fresh and fun.
Try to look at the bright side folks.
I can definitely see doing this with a few of my friends who don't have collections like mine.
What a cool idea! I think these would be awesome in a Weekly Brawl where everyone gets a pre-made fishing deck and then call it a "Fishing Tournament" or something fun.
Because they want to use those cards "competitively," not for fun.
you mean at tournaments and stuff? I thought ranked was competitively.
Standard is going to be the Ranked mode that matters more to people who play competitively because of monthly rewards like golden chests and dust. Playing well in Ranked Wild will only matter a little more than it does in casual since things like BlizzCon points are awarded to people playing "Ranked Standard".
Edit: I believe they said official tournaments will use standard sets as well.
I think he means because of the news about Standard mode, and how the rest of the forum is on fire discussing it.
I play a huge number of my matches on my phone, and the pain you are describing is all too familiar. Sometimes if I wait it out, I can reconnect in time to finish my turn but it's still a flip of the coin.

So the poll is ending in a couple of minutes, but holy crap, these were really enjoyable to read through. Best of luck to everyone who submitted!
