I would not say it's a bad replacement - the only point is, that besides you are left with only 4 divine shield's in a deck (and you want Divine over Lifesteal on a Corpsetaker most of the times) you also loose 3-cost Divine/Taunt, which can protect other minions or help with aggro from time to time.
About Spellbreaker, I was trying it few times with different buildups and it was quite ok, but most of the time Sunkeeper Tarim was enough. But you can definitely try it, I would suggest replacing for Aldor Peacekeeper or even Argent Commander.
So long story short, I have pretty much only ever played mech mage, beast hunter, and murloc shaman. I'd like some more challenging decks to play that aren't as straightforward. Any good ideas?
Depending, if your target is ranking up, having fun, or somewhere middle? :)
Hey, I just started playing a week and a half ago. I was just using basic cards you get for getting the class to level 10, and got up to rank 18 in the last week of Jun.
Now, I want to try to see how far I can get for the July Ladder and I'm trying to get at least one decent deck together. I got the welcome bundle which gave me Archmage Antonidas, and the Karazhan Adventure which gave me Medivh so I'm trying to build a mage deck around those. Here is my deck so far:
Right now, my plan is to save up for a second primordial glyph. Comments and critiques about how I can rebalance the deck, and what cards I should be swapping out are appreciated.
Unfortunately you have private Deck Collection. Otherwise I could tweak the deck with you :) Anyway my suggestions:
I'll tell you what now, I'm going to go insane and build 18 ladder decks to rotate through. After each game I'm going to play the next deck in my collection screen, in the order that I unlocked the golden heroes (Mage, Paladin, Shaman, Priest, Warrior, Warlock, Hunter, Rogue and Druid). I'm going to try and hit Legend like this unless we get too far in the month that it no longer seems feasible.
For the first nine decks, I'm going to play the top deck in the format. For the other nine, I want them to be fun, so I'm open to suggestions. Cards are no object since my collection is pretty full anyway. I might switch the second page to Wild decks though.
Decks I have currently (builds aren't final, just an idea for me to start with):

The deck has 2x Divine Favor and usually, you don't want to draw into 3x 1-cost when refuelling. And you can make much more value out of Divine Favor.

Thanks for feedback m8! :)
Hemet, Jungle Hunter seems really interesting, will try it out.
