Jepetto the Mecha'thun and Zap it or you reduce it's cost by playing Galvanizer twice then Shudderwock then play a 6 cost Mecha'thun and Voodoo Doll it and Zap or Lightning Bolt.
Could be balanced a bit more but I like the idea that the uninjured pirates abandon the ship. Basically a 5 mana Vanish in some situations which makes it good against decks that run small creatures but tend to be bad against decks that run big ones. I think it might still be too strong.
Take out florist and put in Barista Lynchen. You can now reduce your mechathun by up to 4 mana. I have no idea how you will survive long enough but Barista Lynchen can allow you to consistently set up your win condition.
Sounds slower than just dropping a Florist that will make it much faster and use mana more efficiently. The win condition is playing Florist and making either Voodoo Doll or Mecha'thun cost less so having to wait for 3 cards that need to be in hand and waste 9 mana on one turn and 4 in another is just a long detour.
I agree with you on the point that there are better Mech Hunter decks (obviously because that deck is a precon), but Oblivitron is still pretty good in the decks that doesn't run Bombs. It's very good tempo swing especially if you're able to get a Mechanical Whelp. Boommaster Flark is also pretty good but I think it's a lot slower and needs a lot more support than the normal version of Mech Hunter (something like the one above).
I don't know much about Spell Hunter but I tried running Ress Priest which is basically Wall Priest. Basically it's quite bad against Tempo decks such as the new Pirate Tempo Rogue which I have a win rate of 1-5. So if Tempo Rogue makes it, I don't think Wall Priest will be good enough.
This is just my games and maybe I'm unlucky but that's my opinion.
1. Jepetto Joybuzz. Very good value card when your deck has a lot of battlecries and deathrattles. Will be seen in a lot of decks (at least my decks).
2. Archmage Vargoth. I've seen enough cards that cheat out other cards to know that they're very powerful. Good in Mass Ressurect Priest.
3. Blastmaster Boom. Can potentially do a lot of damage especially if your opponent has no minions when they clear it. Not to mention the Bombs will do the rest of the job.
4. Barista Lynchen. Good value card, doubling Jepetto Joybuzz in some decks can be insane but I don't think it'll be broken enough.
5. Chef Nomi. I believe in the dream of turn 6 42/42 stats on board because Twisting Nether is 8 mana, Psychic Scream is rotating as well. Hard to clear unless you're Warrior or Shaman.
Wait how? The only thing this does is create another copy of other battlecry minions in your hand meaning that when you play [card]Shudderwock/card] you do not get a second copy of it.
Be aggressive and once they play Jain try to not let her ping your minions in any way. And know they will eventually run out of steam. Also big minions are hard for them to deal with.
I play the deck myself and I just played against a Prelate Paladin and was just unable to run over those big dudes. Also know they do not run Polymorph and use that to your advantage.
I'm sorry but they do run Polymorph? It's one of the best card in the deck and is very useful against Wall Priest/Cloning Gallery Priest.

What about Treants which are always a 2/2 and Ancients which are always 5/5s?

I think there's a missing card? It's supposed to be 25 more cards but it's even.

Actually nvm, you can go infinite as the 1 mana Grumble, Worldshaker will be copied. So you can go 1 mana Shudderwock then Grumble, Worldshaker. But it's still very hard to do but it's possible.

Alternatively (which also doesn't work), you can go for a second copy of Grumble, Worldshaker and then reduce the cost of it by one using Fire Plume Harbinger. Then going for double Grumble, Worldshaker on so you get a 1 cost Grumble, Worldshaker. But in the end, it will only give one extra copy of Shudderwock.

It does not. Treants are only the 2 mana 2/2 tokens that you get. That's why Ancients which are 5/5s don't count.

Everyone: Fel Lord Beltrug is literally trash tier and unplayable.
Blizzard: PLOT TWIST!
