YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on New Neutral Minion - Vicious ScalehidePosted in: Card DiscussionThis is amazing for Deathstalker Rexxar. We finally have immediate heal and don't need to relyon the overpried Bloodworm.
Hydra + this is literally amazing. YOu don't even take damage from the Hydra because of itneraction shenanigans.

notsoclutch posted a message on New Paladin Minion - Paragon of LightPosted in: Card DiscussionThis is a fun puzzle. I love the design and I think it could work somewhere down the line. Right now though, it feels like it's caught in limbo though. It's easy to activate in aggro paladin, but the payoff isn't worth much in aggro paladin. The payoff in a control or even midrange paladin is pretty significant, but it's a lot more difficult to make work.

On the forums for practical reasons people are always using names that shortly desribe the type of deck they are talking about: "Pirate Warrior", "C'thun priest (Wild)", "Reno-beast-rogue", "Kibler's KFT Mage", "Czech Global Games Finale Face Hunter" and so on. But I was wondering what are the people actually using in your HS collections?
Personally, I like naming my decks after movies or by using wordplay, although sometimes I use default names - like my Taunt Warrior is named "Guarding the shard" which is a default name for a taunt warrior deck recipe, even though I've changed at least half of the cards.
So, I invite people to share some cool names! My favorites:
- I know that the name "Yogg'n'load" was created independently by multiple people when Yogg was released (the deck includes Lock and Load spell). When recently hunter death knight card was released, I've added him to the deck and started calling it "Yogg, load and 2 stitched beasts" (after the movie "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels"). That is also when I found out that deck names have character limit..
- My jade rogue deck is called "jade, jury and executioner"
- Back in the old days I had a mage deck called "mad mage 2: spell warrior". Honestly, there is no justification for "2" being there other than resembling "Mad Max 2: road warrior"
- Naxx days deathrattle shaman deck, that actively used Reincarnate was straight up called "You only live twice"
- Since SMOrc hunter was the only effective way to build a hunter deck, I tried to create a control hunter deck and called it "face is NOT the place"
- Also, when I created a DeathRattle hunter deck, I typed the name "DR Hunter". Sometimes later I've noticed that I started thinking about it as "Doctor Hunter"
- although my elemental shaman deck is nothing craze, I like to spell it as "ele-mental", it adds a little bit of zing to it.

I undestand why the nerf was needed, but as a guy, who for the last year or so only played Astral Communion type of druid (relying heavily on turn 1-2 innervate plays), I am extremely unhappy about it.

On the official website there is a quiz, one of the questions is "the best Hearthstone deck to play is..." and the answers are discover/aggro/combo/midrange/hard to choose. I guess good old fashioned grinding control style of play is not even acknowledged by Blizzard anymore...

"Start running prey" (Rexxar's greeting). Bonus points for clearing the whole opponent's board with his battlecry.

Who I want to watch: ProfessorNox (who used to be Noxious).
Who I'll be watching: I'll be switching between several streamers trying to find one who's actually able to open packs/play (because the servers will be down).

Even though I have a suspicion that after the meta stabilizes they may proof highly overrated I'm crafting the Lich king and Gul'dan first day.
I was already running a fun Krul deck since MSoG and the Dk looks like a perfect fit. As for the Lich King, there must always be the Lich King! Also the cards he gave you look so different from collectable cards, you just have to try and evaluate them for yourself

Shouldn't the poll be "the fluffiest cards of the frozen throne"?

If I use the disenchant button to destroy the dreadsteed in order to receive full dust value, will its deathrattle trigger?
I guess it was a bad joke to begin with...
