I used to be a HUGE tempo mage player and was looking forward to trying tempo mage in this new meta, with cards like Faceless Summoner and Cult Sorcerer, even without C'Thun, leading the charge. However, it seems with the loss of Mad Scientist, I can't compete with any deck on the ladder right now in the slightest. I was wondering if anyone had any tempo mage decks that are working, I don't want to just throw in the towel, craft Twin Emperor, and play C'Thun decks for the next 4 months before the next set drops. I find them boring.

I really do love the deck now though, looks really solid, I saw some other lists running things like 1 mire keeper and 1 klaxxi, but I think both of those are just too good not to run two

Don't know how I feel about Aviana and Sea Witch. Like, I see what you're trying to do,  you want to play those cards on turn ten so they would be free with C'Thun, but neither card is particularly strong. With Aviana for example you would want to discount something at around 6+ cost more to get the value, because it's probably going to get killed since your opponent has 10 mana and Aviana has 5 health. This means C'Thun, Hogger, and Arakkoa are the best discounts, but only C'Thun is extraordinary. The good thing is of course putting two major threats on the board at once, but assuming C'Thun is the thing they decide to remove and you keep the Aviana, in a deck like this, what would you really do with your surviving Aviana? Dump your whole hand of now mostly vanilla minions?  Sea Witch is more of the same except if it survives it does even worse than Aviana. I would just play another roots and another raven idol instead of those.

There are always times where you win those matches + don't you play for fun? Mill Rogue is a very fun deck to play with AND to play against, so why skip the matches? 

IF to skip anything than its facehuntard ... not because u can't win but because it's no fun.

I do play for fun normally, but I've never tried to ladder up with one deck consistently before, I don't wanna be that guy who is stuck at rank 15 anymore. Not that it matters anyway, the deck I'm using is supposedly a legend deck and ladder has been kicking my ass. Maybe Hearthstone just isn't for me. I mean, I don't have the card collection to have the fun of theorycrafting, and I'm apparently too bad to play good decks right anyway.

No, this isn't a "Mill rogues are OP" QQ thread. I'm positive they are only barely competitive if that. This has to do with my matchup. I play the new combo warrior, specifically the variant by Yong Woo , and this matchup just feels like a hopeless struggle beginning to end. I think it has to do with half the deck requiring commitment and late game mana to play, and the other half cycling itself. Not to mention you have to wait for two vanishes before even attempting to get everyone in here. All of this would be fine if it were another deck, I mean, lots of decks have bad matchups, but with mill rogue it takes SO LONG for you to lose. So I'm asking the community, is it more worthwhile to just skip these games so I have more time to gain stars elsewhere? Are there other decks that have matchups so bad you should just concede?

You do know this won a tournament, right? Where all the competitors are legend ranks? And it absolutely destroyed them, too.
