Would anyone like to spectate and try to help me on any misplays I might be making? I'm not asking for anything more than a few games out of anyone. I'm very receptive to advice and would appreciate any help from someone who is at least a higher rank than I. (8 currently)
Thanks for the wishes, same goes for you. As for as my luck with teching it's not much better than what yours sounds like. It's just a reach at having a little more control over matchups as i'm sure you know that sometimes backfires and sometimes rewards you.
Thanks a bunch, you've really helped me understand matchups that much better. I guess I got what I was hoping to hear from you as well because I've been hesitant to give mech mage another try for some reason. Again, thanks a whole bunch for taking the time to voice your opinion and remaining humble throughout.
I appreciate your well articulated response. I will apply as much of this as I can, my time leading up until seasons end is unlimited so I'm hoping I'm good enough to do it with the decks I have.
My only question for you Elmyna would be do you have an opinion on which 2-3 decks I should play out of the bunch? The reason I was playing so many decks was I was trying to figure out which ones of the 6 or so I played definitely boosted me from rank 9-3. Ever since though I've been mainly focused on a few.
Also on the value part I guess what I meant was when it comes to clearing the board I focus super hard on value, not sure if that changes things but I do try to keep tempo on my mind as well for sure. :D Thank you again.
Harrison Jones will help you out a lot more in the long run but TBK is perfect for dealing with the sludge belchers that end up in every deck or if you're in a matchup vs a druid.
It's your personal preference, IMO Harrison over TBK.
Yeah, I tried to stray away from the cancer and play the mid range hunter which did the majority of my grinding to rank 4 which is when I started playing the combo druid more. I will try playing mostly face hunter/control warrior/combo drood and see how things go and tech my druid/war as needed.
Quick intro on myself. I have been playing Hearthstone since its release and I have casually laddered since s1. I average around rank 10 end of month doing quests and playing a few casual ranked games only. This season however though I decided with my amount of free time I might as well try to grind legendary. It's proving to be tough though and I'm hoping this is where you guys can help.
First off, my apologies if this gets messy or hard to follow but I'm hoping I keep it short and sweet. I was rank 3 with 3 stars and wasn't keeping stats but I'd say overall I had about a 70% win rate with
I was also dabbling a bit into mech and freeze mage (boy is freeze a hard deck to play well!) as well as grim patron (this one is tough too) and control warrior when I felt they were better choices. I would say overall though I am playing combo druid and control hunter the most and cancer hunter/tempo mage second most.
The issue I present now is I seem to be on a losing spree and ever since I dropped down to rank 5 I started keeping stats and sadly I am now back down to rank 8-7 and juggle between them.
Mid Range Hunter 43% win rate over 23 games with 10 losses. Majority of losses to face hunter 0/4 and grim patron warrior 1/3
Combo Druid 43% win rate over 16 games with 9 losses. Majority of losses to tempo mage 0/3 and mech shaman 0/3 (ran into 3 different players in a row here running a mech shaman deck)
Tempo Mage 50% win rate over 10 games with 5 losses. Majority of losses to freeze mage 0/1 control pally 0/1 oil rogue 0/1
Control Warrior 50% winrate over 10 games with 5 losses. Majority of losses to handlock 0/2 and combo druid 1/2
Mech Mage 50% win rate over 10 games with 5 losses. Majority of losses to control priest 0/2 and combo druid 1/2
Cancer Hunter 54% win rate over 11 games with 5 losses. Majority of losses to combo druid 1/2 and grim patron war 0/1
So there it is, I have a lot of cards and could possibly try some other decks for these classes but I'm pretty far off from any paladin/priest/warlock decks in the meta. I do have a full oil rogue deck but I have yet to record any stats/play extensively, same goes for grim patron but before when I played it on the ladder I went 2/3 and didn't like the feeling of everything riding on grim patron. These two decks seem to be a little too tricky for me but I'd consider practicing them. As far as freeze mage goes I went 1/3 overall and didn't finish playing 10 games out of discouragement. Mech mage also just seemed like it was based purely on draw luck to get some board going.
Please any and all suggestions are welcome! I'm desperate for help on climbing the ladder some more!
Things I currently try to do. Switch decks based on what i'm seeing a lot of when needed, swap out recommended cards if you're encountering a lot of aggro or control, never concede until they have fatal for sure and finally I do think about my choice of play and consider value above all else. I would also say I'm a pretty smart person when it comes to mulligans.
Well this is what happens when I make a deck as faded as your sister was at my bar mitzvah. Place your bets people... I'm going with 0 wins because that's what it says already and it seems safe. Rouge power!
The two cards that cannot be seen on the screenshot are a pyroblast and a flamestrike. I was advised to go to icyveins and follow their arena guide and found some useful tips (mainly in the card tier lists). I'm looking for any and all input on this deck, how it should be played and what you think will happen.
I tried my hardest to get a good mana curve with more 2 drops but sadly I was offered little to none. Sorry also not sure why the picture is so small, new to the forums clearly.

The only problem with gold/getting packs in this game is that I'm limited to 100g a day from wins, that's some stupid bullshit right there.

Never concede, I've seen people fireball themselves on accident even at ranks 10+.
Edit: Before someone thinks I'm saying a rogue is going to fireball themself. Moral of the story, misclicks are things, as are dc's.

Also if anyone is interested in spectating a few matches and pointing out any misplays feel free to add me. CurryKitty#1189
So, update as of edit time on this post. I dipped back into rank 6 and am maintaining rank 7 pretty well with just cancer deck.

Oh ya and I wish on my turn 3 pick I had taken that mana addict over that sexy ass master swordsmith, no homo.

That was my ultimate goal until turn 4 was to keep his shit off the board, i feel I'm not going to do well against a mage or rogue.

Well my first game i 30-0'd a Paladin. I got lucky and got my early draws and managed to hold the board all game.
