While I don’t disagree that Mages are a tough matchup, don’t forget that Voidfiend steals health at the end of the trunk so it becomes at least a 0/2 before a mage could respond with their hero power. Still problematic, but at least a tiny bit better than it could have been!

I’m somehow up to 6 wins with a Voidfiend-based Priest deck using Shadow Word: Void and I’m really liking the weird, different feel of the deck. Early Tour Guide plays get the leeching up and running quickly, and using the treasure on something early with 3 or 4 health has often been enough to swing things for a win. Buffs from Power Word: Feast as well as Lightsteed help to keep the Voidfiends up long enough to sometimes get north of 10 health for me. It seems like people don’t quite know how to handle the little dudes yet and they live far longer than they have any right to. I’m not saying the deck is GOOD, but it certainly is an enjoyable take on the class. I’m sure by themselves, the Voidfiends are too slow to win a game-perhaps next time I will put C’thun in as an actual win condition. Has anyone else tried out Voidfiend Priest setup?

I’m liking the card so far-makes a Growth cost 0 so nearly every card you play corrupts it. Just played a game where I could get down 4 17/17 Growths thanks t Y’Sharaaj!

Unless I’m mistaken, with the introduction of the mini set there are 35 new cards in Darkmoon, meaning you don’t need all of them for unlocking still. I have all but one treasure unlocked and I have 147 of the cards from the set.

Thank you! Glad someone else out there enjoys it.

You made the change I was considering! I really want to get old Yogg in there and I think I’ll give it a shot moving forward. I haven’t had too many games where Albatross showed up late to the party, although I have probably just gotten lucky with card draw or Insights. I would say it’s all about milking Infiltrators for as many kills as you can while you wait for Albatrosses to show up. I try to save as many rez effects as I can for the birds, but a Twilight’s Call with Umbra out is always good for some quick removal I find.

Shan’do Wildclaw can mess up Master’s Call from time to time, but maybe I’ve just been lucky. I’ve only pulled one call that didn’t draw me three beasts. As annoying as that can be, I do love the flexible upside of either a deck buff if pulled early in the game or a copy of a Rhino to end the game quickly later on. I suppose it is a personal decision!

It’s based on Mark’s OTK deck with it. Master’s Call is used for specific minion discovery, not pulling three beasts in this case. You use Shan’do Wildclaw to make a third Porcupine through copying, have them all die, then use Undatakah plus either Brann (picks up 6 deathrattles) or Umbra/Rivendare to trigger a stupid amount of deathrattle procs to shoot everything down. Stitched Trackers help you discover copies of pieces to get to the combo faster. It takes some decision making along the way and it’s tough against aggro like all combo decks, but VERY rewarding when you pull it off and watch the spines fly.

I don’t have all the cards yet but I’m playing a similar enough deck with some replacements (such as the Scrap Shots and Shand’o) and I’m loving this kind of deck so far even if I have a suboptimal version! Thank you for the inspiration.

I love porcupine decks! I’m trying out an OTK deck with Undatakah but I want to also create a viable midrange-y kind of deck using the little guys as well.

I would LOVE new Yogg in here as a back up “plan.” What about old Yogg? Could he fit in here?

After playing a few more games: I’m completely at a loss. I always fall behind on the board and I find I have no way to climb back once that happens. Any advice?

I’m glad you enjoy it and are finding success at levels FAR above where I’m at!

I don’t expect this deck to be any kind of meta-breaker, just a deck that reflects the ways I like to play TCG’s, slow manipulative painful death to the opponent. Truth be told, I’m more of a Wild player and I have been enjoying the version I play over there with Amara and Umbra much more, but this one is still quite fun for me as well and might even do better after the recent (slight) aggro nerfs. I agree on the openings, I find if I can stabilize by turn 5 or 6 and start hitting a good Albatross groove or Infiltrator wall then I can slow the game down immensely and start to annoy the opponent into conceding or a C’Thun finish. Your win rate is roughly what I’ve been hitting way down in my range (Silver/Gold) so it’s nice to see it can work I higher up as well! I’m gonna check out that replay, I love watching what other people do with it. Anything you would change in there? I’m not the most happy with Galakrond but I’m not sure what I would replace it with as the removal and armor are nice in a mode where I don’t have access to Psychic Scream, Mass Hysteria, or Twilight’s Call for more Infiltrators.

I’m really liking it so far, something different is always fun. I managed to get very greedy and eclipse into Survival thanks to Omu. That game got out of hand very quickly. I’ve found the hardest part for me is knowing when to play Polkelt-this deck has far more expensive cards than I am used to!

Just pulled Kiri, and I love C’Thun so I’m gonna be checking this one out! Maybe readjusting some as I don’t have Yogg yet but I’ve been desperate for a Druid deck to play because I’m sitting on like 7 legendaries for the class. Thanks for the inspiration!
