"You've reached rank 11! You are at the top 12% of hearthstone players". That's because I suck at this game, responding honestly.
How can you think you suck at the game if you are in the top 12%? The best I've done is reach Rank 14. I have never tried to get any higher because:
a) I don't think I'm good enough
b) I have "Ladder Anxiety" (sad, but true)*
*now that they are giving us "extra" rewards for reaching our highest rank of the season (even if we fall back later), I might try to see how far I can go this season.
Sorry, it's just a strong self-criticism :D Nevermind.
I mean, I wish I could reach at least rank 5 given the amount of time I spend on this game. And I assume, around 5 hours every day is a lot.
Im so over people complaining about bad cards. It's not possible for every card to b "good". We only have 3 card decks, there will always be "better" cards, making the other ones "bad". Bad cards make good cards good.
In constructed it won't see much play if it's not "good" or "very good". Arena is a different story.
Yesterday I played 10 games and won 9 out of 10. Today I played and lost all 6. And these days, in general, I either won 90% of my matches or I lost several in a row and it was VERY frustrating.
How is it possible? I've been using same deck every time, I downloaded Deck Tracker last month so I know for sure if my opponent used, let's say, both Execute or not.
And also, is 57-60% win-rate considered OK or not?
I guess, my order is: Mage, Paladin, Warlock, Priest, Rogue, Druid, Shaman, Hunter, Warrior.
I'm surprised many people rated Warlock lower than other classes, except for Mage and Paly of course. Warlock got much stronger with Imp Gang Boss. It is probably the best class-specific card in BRM adventure.
Edit: My last Arena was 12 wins with Mage, also thanks to lots of AoE. 3x Flamestrike and 2x Blizzard if I remember correctly.
I don't understand people that say Flamestrike should be Epic or Legendry though. Play around it! Just don't play minionswith less than 4 health on turn 6 or, just saying, you could use Nerubian Egg on that turn as well.
Flamestrike is the best and most reliable boardclear when it comes to Arena. The fact that it is a basic card makes it so that the chances of getting at least 1 are very high and even several happens often enough. This plays a huge role in making Mage the best arena class. And I am certain you actually lose quiet a few games because of the fear for flamestrike alone aswell. NOT playing into it often results in way weaker turns from you and gives a mage that does not even have flamestrike more of an opportunity to regain or maintain tempo on the board. I don´t think it should be made Legendary or even just epic for that matter. But making it Rare would be a good thing for the arena environment IMO.
I didn't say it shouldn't be Rare. I was talking about the idea of making it Epic or Legendary.
As for me, I don't play Arena often. But in Ranked I don't really lose a few games because of the fear of Flamestrike. I just play around it, it is not that hard.
Besides, there're more Tempo mages on ladder atm that don't use strike.

Nice deck, thank you! Made some changes though: isn't it reasonable to put in 1 equality? Maybe instead of 2nd divine favour.

Turn 1. Face hunter is roping, thinking how to Smorc, I guess.
Turn 8. Hunter gets Steamwheedle Sniper from Piloted Shredder
But when people rope EVERY turn and then make obvious plays is just frustrating sometimes, seriously.

I'd say, turn 4 is the most important in Hearthstone, isn't it. There're lots of 4-drops that are much better.

In my opinion, it'll be a decent card and finally Ramp Druid will see play again, even on ladder.
Seriously guys, you either draw Astral Communion on your 1-4 turn and gain HUGE tempo or you don't and you play a normal Ramp type of deck.
Maybe adding cards with new mechanics such as Master Jouster would also make sense cause most likely you'd get those buffs.
