Thank you, I really appreciate it. I have updated my deck above version similar to my deck used by Dmoney - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpfQIGrY8Sk. The reason I went with this deck is because it is more control-oriented, similarly to my original deck. If you wish to still go with The Fist of Ra-den then you might be able to put it in instead of Boggspine Knuckles. Also, if you face a ton of priests, then you might want to consider implementing Plague of Murlocs as it worked really well in my original deck replacing either Torrent or Serpentshrine Portal.

Another variation that you might wanna try is made by Brian Kibler - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIE4E_dfECs. His variation is more of a battlecry midrange shaman with a highlander package that can still throw a punch in the late game.

I really do hope that this helps. Both of these players seemed to have success with their decks. However, when I have the time I will attempt to test all of the possible variations of control shaman to see what works and what doesn't and will then hopefully post my own version of highlander shaman unless what I come up with is not much different from their decks.

Yeah, I have been trying a few different decks now but unable to try all of the archetypes and variations that I wish I could since I simply do not have all of the cards that I would want to try. I did see one of streamears though playing with a new version of highlander quest shaman, so do look it up if you are interested and I will post a new deck once I got some more cards and time to experiment with them.

Yeah, I think it would be too greedy to include it. Sunstrider will most likely thrive better in an aggressive variation of spell shaman.

You can also rely on cheap cards to provide you with some tempo as well as any invoke cards to deal with early game threats as well as zentimo combos and lighting breath. Also, do not forget that you can generate some spells with hagatha as well as two cards that let you discover a spell. But once again, whatever deck and style you prefer. The deck I made just simply works for me so I wanted to share it. In addition, I personally hate playing decks that are auto-piloted. They are just not interesting. I also hate having hard counters and if you take any meta deck then it will always have some hard counters that just won't give you any chance of winning unless your opponent is just sleeping. Thus, while the deck I created won't beat every deck, it at least provides you with a chance and opportunity to beat any deck if your draw is right and if you play your cards right which just makes it so enjoyable.

P.S. Even if you play King Phaoris having just Eye of the Storm and hopefully with any other spells in your hand, it will already provide you with value. 5/5 body for 10 mana with at least one random unit of 10 cost which should be at least 8/8 on top of that which is in addition to all other spells you may have in your hand.

None taken. Whatever works for people but according to the comments of the deck you shared, it struggles with both value and aggro decks so just be mindful of that.

Whatever man. Neither of you two justified your statements and if you hate the game so much, then what are you doing on its forum writing some meaningless angry comments?

Thank you for providing your recommendations. You are making some very good points but I honestly do not agree that king phaoris is too greedy. As mentioned below, he provides incredible value in the late game which can then be supported by shudderwock.

Doomsayer is probably a good idea, but it would become a dead card in the late game when you are controlling the game.

Regarding the dragon package, I understand that it may look inconsistent but they just work. My previous version included lighting storm and it's just not good unless you are playing against token druid. You overload your crystals, so you are unable to do pretty much anything next turn and if the opponent has minions with 3 health, you have to pray to all gods that lightning storm kills them.

Whereas, lighting breath is just far better, you play it with omega mind, you pretty much kill 3 minions and heal yourself for 12 health. If you have zentimo in your hand, lightning breath just becomes another board removal killing pretty much everything as the spell will repeat itself which is also combinable with omega mind. No zentimo in your hand, but there is a big threat on the board, you can combine lightning breath with Electra stormsurge once again providing you with a clear board.

In addition, I found that hagatha gives me lighting breath quite often which you wouldn't be able to activate without the dragon package. You can also discover it via two of your cards, granting you additional copies.

Sand under and youthful brewmaster are indeed great additions to the deck but I would have to replace it instead of the dragon package that just works for me.

Bandermosh is also just a great card and you are right that it might be better than nithogg. I understand that it can provide you with crazy combos for 5 mana and would love to include in this deck, however, I just simply do not have bandermosh and therefore can't check his consistency. Anyone else is recommended to try it as some people did down in the comments.

Galakround may be difficult to fully invoke in a highlander form but shaman is the best guy to do it. Firstly, you have corrupt elementalist, so you may be only required to find three invoke cards in total instead of 4. In addition, when I want to go for an early galakround, I can also combine invocation of frost with zentimo invoking me three times in a turn.

Great advice and thank you so much for reaching out. While I disagreed with some of your points, I will still make sure to give your recommendations a go to further improve the deck. I hope that whatever variation of this deck you chose to go with works for you.

Thank you for providing your feedback. You have some very interesting ideas. However, I have also been playing control shaman for a while and with the lackey package, you have to solely rely on your galakround to finish off your opponent. Therefore, mages, priests and warlocks will absolutely obliterate you in the late game by using their many board clearing spells.

When it comes to a weapon and king phaoris, the value they provide is absolutely incredible. However, once again, the deck is not the easiest one to pilot. You have to understand when to play them in order to get value out of them. Weapon costs 4 mana, I play it often on turn 4 if there's much stuff on board and/or if I have a board clearing spell that I can play next turn which gives me a minion onto an empty board, applying immediate pressure to my opponent. In addition, do not forget that due to hagatha, you are likely to have an incredible amount of spells that you can play to help you control the board. It can also be played again anytime, considering you can either play a clearing spell straight away or next turn if there is not much threat.

Nithog, is a very underrated dragon, he is needed to increase the consistency of the dragon package as well as provide you with some additional value due to his eggs. Speaking from experience, most of the time your opponents will attack the eggs to prevent you from getting that value of 12/12 for 6 mana. If they don't, you have an opportunity to trade and therefore maybe play your weapon or phaoris to apply more pressure.

Far sight might work, I have tried it before and it wasn't consistent enough to include it. Many of the times it would simply reduce the cost of a spell I needed for the weapon or phaoris.

Speaking of phaoris, you just gotta play him in very late game or if there is no pressure on the board. He is needed to first of all, provide you with value, secondly, force your opponent to use one of their board clearing spells so when you get to galakround or shudderwock, they have nothing to answer it.

I don't know how this deck didn't work for you, but the value it generates leaves no chance to any control deck out there. I have never lost to any control druid or warrior or any kind of priest. You must be having a bad day to lose to rogue as normally they are quite small and don't have any board clearing spells, therefore, do not have any means to deal with your big dudes you summon. Hunter is a problem, but so is for any other control deck. Yet this variation of control shaman does provide you with multiple tools to deal with him if you play right and if the cards you draw are descent. Wish you luck, if you haven't played this variation, do give it a try as it might surprise you. Hope what I have said here helps.

Bandersmosh is a good replacement and hope it works for you. With one less dragon, however, be mindful of utilising your play accordingly to play the dragon needed cards such as witchdoctor and lighting breath.

Against hunter, just try to mulligan either for any board clearing spells, invoke cards or walking fountain to heal yourself.

Might also be a good idea to keep Storm Chaser to hopefully draw Hagatha's Scheme out of your deck so you could start ramping it or Earthquake to later clear his board. In addition, a 3/4 body will be helpful to trade.

Or you can use bandermosh which would be a great fit. I didn't include him as I simply don't have him
