Number 59: Crooked Cook

I used to play a lot of Hunter, Priest and Druid back in the day, but not the agressive versions. Don't get me wrong I can play some aggro decks but the decks I had most fun with are Highlander Priest, Control Priest, Highlander Hunter, Big Taunt Druid (I think all of these were viable during the Descent Of Dragons meta) and Zoo Warlock during Ashes of Outland.

I played hearthstone non stop since Journey to Un'Goro up until the new quest reward system where I completely quit the game. I didn't touch Hearthstone or this site since then. Recently I've been looking to get back into the game, but I'll need someone to help me whether to continue in Wild or go Standard (depending on my collection).

Two questions:
1. Is the new rewards system better than old or worse?
2. If possible can someone add me through discord (T0mb#3646) so they can check my collection, get me back into hearthstone with a general idea of the meta and good cards and tell me what to disenchant/craft?

Yes it is. Totemic reflection pushed Totem Shaman to low tier 2 in the Ashes of Outlands meta. This is a end of turn Keleseth effect, do not overlook this.

No. Nonono. NO! That card in yugioh is so cancerous. No one wants that to exist in Hearthstone trust me. It’s like Spreading Plague but on steroids man. Atleast in yugioh you can counter it with mystical space typhoon or similar stuff but in Hearthstone only mage can do that which will probably be one of the classes who will run it so probably won’t even counter it.

My collection is ok but I primarily focus on Druid, Hunter and Priest, I have the most epics and legendaries for them. What deck should I craft?

It’s a nice addition to the deck. Most minions in this deck either have a useful battlecry or deathrattle. The only ones you don’t want to draw with Jeppeto is Emerald Explorer and Winged Guardian, as well as you don’t want to cheat him out with Strength in Numbers. Feel free to experiment, but I don’t think it’ll be successful, although it certainly seems fun.

The question is... is this better than Blazing Battlemage?

Yeah, it’s how it works. But you got to draw the combo which is not very easy. Highlander decks in general are very draw dependant. Pulling off a two card combo (3 if you want to play classic Alexstrasza a turn before) is challenging for a Highlander deck.

I absolutely love this card though. It can push Highlander Hunter and Midrange Hunter (KOFT), two of my favourite decks to ever exist. I’m definetly crafting this on day one.

I mostly agree with you:

DH: agree

Druid: Yes choose one is interesting but I’m not a huge fan. I hope to see more token druid support more based around minions and not spells.

Hunter: Midrangey hunter support would be ok. My two favourite deck of all times are Midrange hunter (KOTF) and Deathrattle Hunter (Witchwood), so I would love support for those archetypes.

Mage: I’m neutral. RNG Mage is fun but it would be nice to see some consistency.

Paladin: Please Control Paladin. We need it.

Priest: I’m interested in Dragon Priest but not the midrange version, the control one.

Rogue: More stealth and deathrattle support would be nice. Maybe, make some combo support cards too? But like with the combo keyword something similar to edwin but not as op.

Shaman: Big shaman or Totem shaman is what I want, especially Big, I love big decks.

Warlock: Handlock is good and all but I don’t like the quest. Maybe something original would be good for warlock. I would love zoo support but Zoo was broken and nerfed (big sad) so let’s not do it.

Warrior: After seeing Tempo Warrior, some good control tools would be nice. Also please blizz free warrior skin (I’m only missing for warrior and DH).

The expansion should be revealed either when the nerfs hit or a week later than that

I mostly animate in Source Filmmaker, but I also play Team fortress 2, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and Terraria

I just want to complete my skin set, I’m only missing a skin for warrior and demon hunter but I don’t want to spend 20$ on a skin.
