Remember when fatigue was a thing? Back when games went past 6 turns?

I can't remember the last time either I or my opponent didn't draw perfect cards on curve. Fuck you to whatever focus group told Blizzard that Hearthstone was too intimidating for new players causing them to make the game run on autopilot.

A once great game is now the equivalent of watching YouTube videos.

Remember when thought and strategy were still a part of Hearthstone? Good times.

Are you lucky? No? Ok you don’t get easy wins. Do you pay bli$$ard real money? No? Ok no easy wins. You play cards then the rng reacts to your cards. Everything is a perfect discover. Everything is a perfect top deck. Everything is run by bli$$ard. You win when you are allowed to win. Plain and fucking simple period. Hearthstone is not a serious game. And should be blasted for pretending to be one. It’s just a fucking endless joke that never ends at this point. It’s all the same otk wombo combo bs that never stops. Where my opp can fuck themselves and the game will proceed to unfuck for them. Because god forbid the game before where if you were bad you were just that bad. Where now we have to give free wins to plebs because fuck putting any time or thought into anything you do. You people who put time into this game. Fuck you. You have a brain? Fuck you. You’ve been playing this game for years? Fuck you we don’t fucking care. We care about our god the dollar and whatever gets us that. Thanks for playing and again to our great customers fuck you

I've been warned that pointing out the obvious is not constructive. Fuck Blizzard, fuck players, wishing cancer and AIDS on people, these things are all useful and constructive comments. Any talk about game mechanics or Blizzard as a profit driven company is strictly forbidden.

    @kinkijohnfowler:

I registered just to thank you to be a champion of reason and repeatedly attempt to reason with conspiracists and flat out put the whole thing to rest. I’ve been lurking for a while and couldn’t understand why anyone wasn’t slapping off the tin foil hat and reasonably explain how things work. I doubt he will ever post his replays. As you’ve said that’s something he’s been avoiding for good reason. Once that’s out, the show is over.

Re: why people are hostile against conspiracy theories? It’s not the theories themselves, it’s stupidity in general. People react adversely to stupid things. I mean, considering how many people work and have worked at Blizzard wouldn’t something as big as every game is rigged have leaked by now? Blizzard isn’t the Pentagon last I checked.

So John registered a second account to jerk himself off in front of everyone. How cute.

Opening 2 sets of packs, Forged in the barrens, and Darkmoon Faire.

I was trying to elongate the Legendary timer by opening 1 Darkmoon pack, then both barrens packs in order to attempt getting a legendary from Darkmoon (i'm looking for N'Zoth, God of the Deep)

As I was hovering over the cards in the 2nd Barrens pack, i was thinking to myself "Please, no legendaries and i'm good"

this is not how any of this works bro, you just got upset for no reason at all. legendary pity timers are SEPARATE for each card EXPANSION. so even if you open 3 barrens legendaries in a row, it does not affect your chances of getting darkmoon legendaries AT ALL.

Because of your post I actually learned something from this board today. Can't say that too often.

Call this what you want, but I have a curse when it comes to RNG in this game. I'm not losing my mind, this is for real.

In all of my 3 years playing this game I actually cannot recall getting "the nuts." At the very best I get mediocre hands. I'm not saying this happens every single time, but this happens so much I cannot stress this enough.

Meanwhile, my opponent always has the nuts. Every single game is a struggle, honestly. I have actually broke down in tears at how unlucky I can be, it us really soul crushing, and everytime I get so close to winning my opponent mounts the most epic come back. This happens no matter which format I'm in..I just cannot ladder up not because I'm bad I don't think I'm great at spotting certain things but I know enough and I try my hardest...

Arena is really weird for me. If I draft a really good deck, I do poorly because my opponent just gets the nuts, and when I draft at least a mediocre deck it does surprisingly well.

TD;LR I have literally the worst luck imaginable when it comes to this game. I'm sorry I said alot but I just had to get this off my chest. Maybe it'll make me feel better if some of you share my experience...but least to say I think it's time I hung up my hat on this game. My luck has officially run out.

Have you tried using mulligan guides? HSReplay premium is good as you can check the WR of cards with and without the coin and against each class at specific ranks.

Due to how linear Hearthstone is most game will be won and lost in the mulligan. You will probably be surprised by which cards should be kept or tossed.

If you follow a good guide for a strong deck there’s no reason you won’t climb.

The illusion of strategy was removed with the creation of ZTG.

I don’t care about your conspiracies. Crack on and moan about being bad at the simplest card game on the market in your own time, Darksun200 seemed to want advice.

ZTG is also an awful example, it’s the single most skill intensive card in the game.

And I don't care about your fantasies of skill still being a part of this game. If you want to believe more power to you. I'm not one to go around telling kids in line to see Santa that it's just a guy in a suit.

Oops! I hope I didn't ruin that for you as well!

Why the hell do people play meta decks on bronze, silver and gold ranks? You can climb through there with some meme decks while actually having fun, goofing around with stuff and then switch to top tier decks later, when you reach Diamond or high Platinum. You can literally lose 3 out of 4 games and still climb when you have a decent star bonus. Why do I have to play against Face Hunters, Control Warlocks and OTK DHs on Gold 9? I will see enough of them on Diamond. Is no one interested in deckbuilding, playing some rarely used cards? I don't wanna always play casual to actually have some fun in the game.

Third Face Hunter in a row. Now I feel an itch to play Libram Pally and wipe the floor with those suckers.

Doesn't matter what deck you have or how bad your opponent plays. If the game decides it is your turn to win you will win. If it's your turn to lose there is literally nothing you can do. Short of conceding the game decides everything.

I know that there are a ton of players that really want to believe that the game is legit. That every aspect of the game is not predetermined and that RNG effects are actually random. Unfortunately all it takes is casual observance and a completely basic understanding of probability to recognize that this is not the case. So many people here point out that you win 5 games, then you lose 5 games. Plus the games are all the same. When it is my turn to lose I often  face the same deck 3 games in a row. With the same opening hands. As I have said the AI that they use to script the game isn't subtle. It chooses the best cards, the best counters (Oh My Yogg is a perfect example of how the game can pick winners and losers), and hands players perfect lethal. If you win in 5 rounds it isn't because you are awesome. You have to draw perfect cards on curve to do 30+ damage in 5 rounds.

The game is a sad shell of its former self. Thought and strategy have been removed in order to attract new players and keep them playing. When they copy a net deck and draw perfect cards on curve, the Dopamine hits and the noobs keep playing longer and (Blizzard hopes) eventually spend real money to get enough dust to make the next flavor of the week net deck promoted by the streamers. Blizzard has a stated goal of an overall 50% win rate. No one should be surprised that they manipulate the game to achieve their stated goal. Nor should anyone be surprised that they dumbed the game down once the general consensus became that new players found the game too intimidating and that they thought they couldn't compete with long term players that had more cards/dust/gold. They can't make money on veteran players that pay for everything with gold and have stockpiles of dust. So they took a once great game and turned it into a mindless activity that runs on autopilot.

When was the last time you played a mage that didn't have Primordial Studies or Font of Power in their opening hand?

How about a priest that didn't have Palm Reading on turn 3?

Here's a fun exercise. Take a deck of 30 cards. Take one card out and add two jokers. Shuffle them well and deal yourself the top 2 cards. See how many times the jokers are the top 2 cards. Now ask me how many times when I play control warlock and open with Spirit Jailer I draw the 2 soul fragments that I just shuffled in the deck on round 2.

    You gotta love manipulated RNG.
