posted a message on blow up the wall, click the ground to find the key.

When playing on my phone I have blown up the wall before, but always on accident. When you have your hand up front and center if you choose the far left card it must move the candle behind them and detonates the wall. I always wondered what was happening.

if you press the back button you'll be able to resume alter, as long as you don't concede or leave when inside a match if you press back when you are picking either treasure or buckets you'll be able to resume it from there, i've done plenty of runs like that.

SO it is like the arena. Thanks for the info Infirc!

Wow. I always thought it would be like arena runs and just let you start where you left off. Good to know as I will not start a run if I think I might not have the time to complete it.

posted a message on 30 - 5 to Rank 3 Secret Mage (85% win rate, small sample size)
    Quote from GratedWasabi >>

I don't want to be rude but this is literally the cookie cutter Secret Mage. It's an easy to play Smorc deck that relies on drawing a good curve and then just playing the cards on curve and mostly ignoring the opponent. This archetype has been played for quite a while and people have merely switched out Entity for the Smorc-perior Runes and one of the big threats for Aluneth.

I struggle a bit to understand why you're using a cookie cutter, known high tier deck to promote your YouTube. I think people appreciate more original, interesting/goofy/interactive deck designs that feature some of the new, cool things added this expansion. Explosive Runes and Aluneth aren't thrilling; they're just Smorc mor cards.

There are a lot of people in this world and stating that you know what each and every one of them likes is presumptuous. There are a lot of players who will watch a video about secret mage and like it and go and try to build/play it. Some might get some ideas from it. Some will just like to watch a certain you tuber. There are plenty of other reasons to watch his you tube video. I love this deck by the way (I still play with Aluneth and Medivh).

I appreciate when someone posts a deck they like and when others suggest changes and a conversation ensues about what and why to replace cards. I also appreciate your view of what you think is fun.

Just because I like to throw a ball and have my dog fetch it doesn't mean the person who likes to watch a cat stalk something and pounce on it is wrong. Just different tastes.

I have been using a similar deck but have Medivh, the Guardian in there. He helps stop Aluneth from burning too many cards on overdraw. He also pairs well when casting the bigger spells like Firelands Portal.

posted a message on Dungeon Run Completions Thread!

I am impressed. I have not won any yet. I took Jade Shaman to the final boss but the dragon with the treasure chests rekt me pretty bad. I am still having fun though, so I will keep at it.

    Grats on the cardback!

posted a message on The dungeons can be fun but ...

Yup, you are right. It is fun and it doesn't reward you.

So if you are looking for only rewards then the dungeon run will not be for you. If the feel the fun is reward enough then the dungeon run will be for you. I like that there isn't rewards for it. I play ladder when I want to progress the ladder and earn gold. I play the dungeon run when I want to see how far I can get and see what kind of crazy decks can be built using the treasures you earn. I play arena when I want to lose (cause I suck at arena).

posted a message on What Neutral epics to craft?

Right now, at this time those cards are being played. In a month or 3 they might not be. A lot of players think it isn't wise to craft big cards this close to a release because the meta is not settled. Look at the cards and if you think you will play them for awhile then you can decide if it is "safe".

Many people don't care if their cards are animated. Opening golden cards gives us a ton of extra dust.

And many people like collecting. Win all around.

Man, you are having a rough day. Between finding the one person to hack the game for some extra 4/4 spiders to having an extremely bad time in the dungeon run I am surprised your keyboard is still in one piece. Maybe it is time to log out for the day, take a nap?

posted a message on difficulty spike at end of month!?

I have noticed that after the reset I started losing more often. Was able to climb to 13 from 15 on the last night. Then after the reset the next day I was at 20 I started losing quite a bit. Meta shift? Getting matched with better ranked players since we are all starting over?

If you hit legend what rank will you start at when the season resets?

I love how other people need to tell me what is fun for me.

By the way, in art school we studied the classics, recreated them to learn from them. Someone mentioned the Mona Lisa. Let's see who was influenced by Di Venci: Rubens and Correggio to name a few. They studied his work and copied from it to find their own style. Di Vinci studied under Verrocchio.

posted a message on What no warlock cards?

I think it would be better to not even have reveals. If you go by the forums all it does is give us a month of complaining.

**I know, I am a glutton for punishment as I still read the forums**

I like seeing the cards and am looking forward to the different decks that can be built using them. Warlock will get cards, maybe they are saving the best for last. <- that's called optimism.
