No matter what I try, I mostly lose to Odd Paladins. Any advice for how to defeat them? I am stuck at Rank 2 because of them.

That's a good deck! But I'm curious, did you test out Heal package with Hob/Carpet together? Potion Vendor/Lightwarden have 1-atk and both cost 1-mana. Adding with Happy Ghoul to cheat out early looks sweet. What do you think of this idea?

    Quote from FirePalyHSplayer >>

Mana mechanisms are core to any card game and in any card game they can be exploited and are exploited. I do not defend those decks. I just know that they exist and I'm okay with that since I'm not type of a person thats gonna scream or cry about something that I don't like.  Yes, they are annoying to play against but they are managenable and they have counters. Sometimes, those counters are limited to classes only but thats okay because even in Wild there is still some class design policy (Although we are already seeing stuff like Aggro Heal Zoo Priest popping up). Thats how card games work and we are lucky thast we also have some sort of neutral card counters(Doomsayer,Explosive Sheep,Tinkmaster,Geist and so on) Do you want to play a deck that is rounded against everything? Try Reno or some other odd Control deck (ofc if its played in good hands) But if you wont then deal with the fact that your deck will loose to some matchups as I'm dealing with it since I know how much variety Wild has.

Where do you make a line with a minions on curve mindset? Even if Big Priest and Darkest Hour Warlock are going to be nerfed to Tier 6 deck, we have still Thekal combo,Mechwarper,Murloc Shaman,Even Shaman,Cube decks,Egg decks and so on. Even if those decks got nerfed, I think that you as many other players will just move to hate other powerhouse created. Baku/Genn can be called out as too consistent, Reno is too powerfull heal and Kazakus is unfair af since it is more flexible than any other cards in the game, DKs are close to infinite value,Kingsbane cant be countered with Oozes but only slowed down,Anyfin Paladin is an aggro, control, combo abomination and so on and on and on. I can complain about any card or mechanic in the game yet I'm not doing even if I dont like to play against it.

You are right that you don't cry for something you don't like, which makes you different from people asking "OP, please nerf X!", in which I respect that. Also, I agree with whole statement in 1st paragraph since I know variety of decks. I am also an avid Reno deck creator, so I know what you mean. However, if they make "another powerhouse" similar to "Big Priest", I will complain anytime because no other deck can summon more than 10-mana worthy minions on turn 4 and beyond endlessly. Thekal Giants can do this only once, Evenlock can do it only once (Mountain Giant). Hope I was clear. So, don't mix me with other players that tend to hate other powerhouse deck, such as Mech Hunter/Murloc Shaman/Cubelock to name a few. Some cards in these decks might be problematic, but not as much as Big Priest or Darkest Hour decks. In short, I like variety of decks like you, and it's up to Blizzard in the end if they want to fix them, starting with Big Priest/Darkest Hour decks.

Yes. I am implying that Big Priest is not a problem for an eternal format

Mind you, I read the rest. Therefore, I don't agree with you. How can you defend decks -including Darkest Hour Warlock- where one can cheat out more than 10-mana worthy minions on turn 4? Are you out of mind? To me, mana-mechanisms are core of this game, and if exploited, everything will break up (compare Recruit, which is on the scale, at least to my eyes), and you defend these decks by only playing Kingsbane or Reno Mage to beat them? What if I don't want to play them? (Don't tell me I don't care, so same to you then, no offense)

Simply put, I like playing minions on-curve with some exceptions (Evenlock: Mountain Giant) but not as abusive as Big Priest or Darkest Hour decks where it's like 50-mana worthy minions on turn 4 and have literally nothing to counter (and yes, I consider transform effects as inefficient, and I know cards such as Hungry Dragon). In other words, if we are on turn 4, it should be limited to 4-mana minion (on-curve mechanic), which is what we usually do, is it really too much to ask for?

Besides the known ways to nerf Big Priest (raise mana, change graveyard effects etc.), how about this?

Shadow Essence: Put a minion from your deck into the battlefield. Make it 4/4. (This way, no chance to play from hand and vulnerable to transform effects more)

I'm not sure if this idea was stated previously, but this is what I came up with, as a new solution. (Maybe?)

    posted a message on Rank 10: Lock-all-Spells

My comment is very long, so I put within the spoiler in case you want to check:

First of all, thanks for your criticism that you pointed out fair points despite the complex English. Your statements regarding Zul'jin weren't wrong but really RNG reliant. You want to put Baited Arrow by cutting out To My Side!, but it isn't worth cutting out. You may summon 5/5 or you may not before or after Zul'jin. At least, To My Side! can summon two bodies that help you better than Baited Shot. Really, I owe most of my wins to this card thanks to summoning Huffer and having lethal afterwards.

As for Deadly Shot, what do you really offer to swap with? Sure, it kills a minion randomly and boosts Zul'jin, but what if you want to kill a target specifically? That's why I prefer Quick Shot and it helps stabilizing early-game.

And, in this deck, I don't have big spells. If you literally consider 6-mana spells as big spells, I don't know what to say. Like, I don't use Crushing Walls and Call of the Wild. Read the guide above and you will see why I lean on cheap spells.

Also, no offense but, "Spell hunter seems like control deck(OMEGALUL)" and "less early game cards that can SMOrc your opponent  fast"?? What makes you think writing them? You expected an Aggro or Midrange deck? I will correct your latter statement: More early game cards SMOrc your opponent fast, Face Hunter, period. I stated this deck as value/swarm oriented one, and considering Zul'jin is 10 mana, if you wait that long in Hearthstone, you will be considered as Control player.

About the early-game, well, this deck has lots of early-game tools thanks to Secret Plan, Secrets and Quick Shot. When Spell Hunter decks were in Standard, it was obvious there weren't good early-game options. Yet, in Wild, there's no issue. So, just check old cards more often and you will see what I mean.

but i am 100% sure that there is no BEST version of spell hunter, because there is SO many good cards that can be included in this archetype, thats why you can make abot 3-7 different versions of  spellhunter and they all could  be pretty good.

I agree with you totally. Please feel free to explore Wild format and thanks for sharing your opinion. If you have any questions, feel free to ask anytime.

posted a message on Tri-Class Bug?

Just in case you didn't know, with "hidden" changes, tri-class cards such as Lotus Agents don't grant extra durability to Spectral Cutlass. Reason is: They belonged to the "Neutral" category. Here's the deal: I was fighting against Thief Rogue and his class -as Hero- was Rogue at the moment. As for me, I was playing Hunter. When he played Grimestreet Informanthe got an extra durability. To my knowledge, with these "hidden" changes, just like Lotus Agents, Grimestreet Informant should be considered as "Neutral" category since they both belonged here, even though the logic says otherwise.

I'm sorry that I forgot to take a picture or record a video or whatever. Do you think it's a bug or intended or forgotten?

posted a message on New-ish Curve design Restrictions?

I can't agree with you more than ever, RavenSun. Anything related to cheating should be 6-mana or above, even 8-mana or above dare I say, and must be on-par with previous cards. Look at N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Darkest Hour as example. You play 10-mana card and gain board control that where answers are endless vs 6-mana board control (cheat) that where answers are limited. That's so absurd. Even so, N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Bloodreaver Gul'dan should have summoned up to 3 minions, similar to Master Oakheart and 10-Mana Kazakus-Summon Potions. Because of these cheats and larger summon shenanigans in Wild, Midrange decks are dead (if you played Midrange decks during GvG/TGT/LOE, you would understand what I mean) and games circle around Aggro/Combo/Control system.

Sorry about my English, since it's not my native language, but this is sadly how Wild works, and I still miss the old-school Midrange decks to this day after the division of formats.

posted a message on Darkest Hour Warlock is a problem?

I think Darkest Hour can be changed that it can summon up to three minions, which makes it on-par with Master Oakheart or Army of the Dead or 10-mana Kazakus-Summon Potions in that regard. So, if one summons up to three minions with 6-mana card or more, that would be cool as balance-wise. Otherwise, summoning lots of minions as 6-mana is really a big problem. If comparison is needed, look at N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Bloodreaver Gul'dan. They summon lots of minions, yet they are 10-mana, not 6-mana.

posted a message on Stealth nerf to multiclass cards and their interaction with Tess/Underbelly

Hmm, that's sad news to hear, but it's understandable that they fixed it since tri-class cards are within "Neutral" category even though the logic says otherwise. However, I want to know one thing: If Lotus Agents discovers himself, then I play him, will he grant me an extra swing just like before? Or, does it matter if he gives me extra swing when I choose from left (Druid) and right (Shaman) but not middle (Rogue)? Can someone confirm this for me while I will test this out by playing some matches?

Portal Keeper and Portal Overfiend are Neutral cards. Therefore, they generate Neutral portals, not class cards even though they look like Warlock cards/tokens.
