what i am trying to say is ... the only thing that made blizzard nerf warsong is that the deck could do 30 dmg a turn thanks to her.. whether the nerf is fair or not .. whether they nerfed the right card or not (*cough cough berserker cough*) the only reason they nerfed a card because of the otk 30+ dmg combo....

FALSE!!!! It limited design space, that's why it was nerfed.
BGH limits design space on a much greater scale, every single 7+ attack card has to have incredible effect and be borderline OP to be even playable.

and warsong could have been fixed by being an aura like rhino, for everything 3 or less and removed the second minion gets 4+ attack, there, suddenly no OTKs, patrons wouldnt be able to attack with inner rage etc etc, because frankly, if design limits were their concern, they would need to remove cards like Charge and BGH altogether
Well, even then Warsong would still limit design space, because, as Blizzard have stated, Dreadsteed was meant to be netural minion, but it's interaction with Warsong didn't allow that. BGH, even as much as I dislike it, doesn't allow any infinite combos that can break the game.

posted a message on Can someone explain why Maexxena creates Grim Patrons?

IMO it's because first he takes 2 damageand as Patron has 3 health, he spawns another one because damage isn't fatal and then Maexxna's effect activates and kills the first Grim Patron.

posted a message on nerf Thoughtsteal

I like playing priest and I love Thoughtsteal,  but it to be called op and needing nerf is just plain stupid. There are many times you get nothing really viable (Shield Slam being one of the best examples), other times it will be too slow to play. And I can understand trouble getting past two Dr. Boom's in two following turns, but Reno really? Priest has already tons of healing and Reno might be quite dead card, at least for me, because I like having quite a lot of duplicates.

So it's worse than Mana Wyrm now?...  Shaman finally gets a good card, no one complains about it, everyone is happy for shaman but now the card is nerfed. Please tell me this is a joke or maybe you misread, because I honestly can't even begin to figure out why blizzard or whoever makes these decisions would do this. It really disgusts me and discourages me from even playing my favorite class anymore, honestly I'm starting to feel like giving up on this game itself. FeelsBadMan

This isn't a nerf, because card text isn't changed, most likely another bug which they created trying to fix some other bugs.

Hands down, the best AOE removal in game IMO as in Rogue you have so many weapon buffs that you can clear the board in game you thought was lost, can work also as a finisher in combos if your weapon has 2+ durability.

Brann only affects battlecries, so he copied the deathrattle twice, so he has two Sylvanas deathrattles. It doesn't matter if at the moment of Raptor's death Brann is still in play or not, Raptor has two Sylvanas deathrattles that go off.

When I play thoughtsteal in a game I thought was lost and got Innervate and Cenarius. Damn, it basicly saved me, despite the fact that opponent dropped his topdecked Cenarius at the next turn, I still won.

    Ok so,

Everyone seems to start with 2 mana 2/3 pirates, the player who goes first gets 3, second player gets 4 + coin. These are the ONLY draws you will ever get from your deck, so I'm assuming cards like Arcane Intellect for Mage don't do anything? After that, you pick from 3 random cards each turn.

You can still draw from spells or other effects (like Ancient of Lore), but every draw will be 2/3 pirate.

Thijs hit legend yesterday with oil rogue from rank 3 , his score was 18-4

Wanted to say exatcly the same! If what, currently Rogue is in the best position it has had for a long time. As I remeber, Thijs didn't had too good games against aggro druid, but he won against them too. I'd say that in current shape-shiting meta if oil rogue is ruled by a good player, it's probably one of the most consistent decks out there.

I have mixed feelings about him. At first glance everyone calls him an amazing anti-aggro card, but if we look at it, what are ways to use him?

    1. Build a 1-each card deck around him. It might work, but is it really good idea to build a deck around one card? And if you don't get a good draw, you'll just get trashed by aggro most of the time, because one card deck will be reaaly inconsisted and that's what you don't need on ladder. Yes, it might win some spectacular games, if you draw Reno at the right time, but there will be more games, you won't be able to do anything.

    2. Put him into you regular control deck. IMO this option is pretty viable, but not against aggro. If you got smoRC'ed by a face hunter, Reno won't help, because either you won't draw him early enough, or you'll have some duplicates still left in your deck, so you won't be able to use his effect. IMO, in a control-control matchup, he might be game-deciding, but not so against real aggro.

IMO, best deck for Reno is deck with loads of draw options (maybe Handlock/other kind of Warlock or Freeze mage?), but it won't be as meta-changing as it may seem now. I hope to be proved wrong, but I think he will either have his place in quite some tier 1 or 2 decks or will slowly fade away when this hype decreases.

It has been mentioned before, but the effect triggers if you have no duplicates left in your deck, your starting deck doesn't matter. So, for example, if you have 2 Fireballs in your deck, draw one and play Reno, if you have no other duplicates left, the effect will trigger.
