You need to do 30 "damage" (it heals the boss instead of actually doing damage) in order for the game to register as a win. After you get the boss to 30, you can let it kill you or keep playing if you want.
The biggest difference between the two decks is that hunter doesn't have nearly as much healing, and it doesn't have a DK that resummons an entire board the same turn it's played. Recruit hunter is a really good deck ATM, but I wouldn't call it the next cubelock.
I really don't think Al'Akir the Windlord is a safe craft. Have been playing since beta and this is the first expansion I can remember where he has been decent (ish). Al'Akir has always been super niche, Shaman has always been a really inconsistent class.
