WIld isn't broken just because you dislike the current strongest deck. There will always be top decks that people will gravitate towards, this just means that smart deck building to counter said decks can be very rewarding indeed.

In response to hillandder, there are plenty of control decks in wild too for Rexxar to pray on. I would know, I'm high legend with a hunter deck :)

And responding to PsychicSpade, I have to disagree that highlander hunter isn't in a great spot, check out my deck for reference.

Thanks for the compliments! Aggro is probably the hardest match up, though I did my best to strengthen the early game without compromising on the late game bombs. Zephyrs has bailed me out more than once! Having said that I feel the deck is very capable at the moment and shouldn't fare too badly against any meta matchup. 

The Alanna payoff is a big reason to run this package, the natural replacement would be King Phaoris who's better in some ways and worse in others. Meteor and LPG can be replaced with some other spells that cost 5 or more mana like Blast Wave, Flame Lance, Pyroblast or Box of Yogg. Zola and Barista are there for extra value from your powerful minions, you could replace with Baleful Banker and Youthful Brewmaster. Kalygos lets you cheat out spells so I would replace with Naga Sand Witch.

Yeah combo decks are beatable with SMORC alone. This is the advantage of the LPG + Big Spell packages, it allows you to generate more threats in control matchups than a more defensive Reno mage build running say N'zoth would allow for.  

I don't think any of those cards belong in this list but if you must then cut stuff like Stone Hill Defender, Manic Soulcaster and Alexstrasza,

Hi Muddler, sorry for the late reply, glad you're enjoying the deck!

If Big Priest coins Barnes into Y'Shaarj that's near impossible for any deck to deal with unfortunately being the ultimate high roll for that deck.

Kazakus can fetch you 5 or 10 mana polymorph potions. I have had Hex and Polymorph offered from Zephrys as well, the trick is to play him with 4 mana left if possible to increase the chances that one of those two is offered.

Otherwise try to stay ahead on the board without committing too much, find that sweet spot of enough pressure to require a response and thereby stop the Big Priest from doing what they want while keeping back resources to retake the board the following turn after a clear. 

Be aware that playing Power of Creation or an Alanna that summons more than 1 dragon if you suspect that the Priest will play Psychic Scream in response will turn off your singleton cards till you draw the duplicates from your deck.

The Eater of Secrets occupies a tech card slot in response to 42% of my match ups being mages. Feel free to swap him for Spellbreaker or Polymorph, though Polymorph weakens Dragon's Fury and Raven Familiar a little. Also Zephyrs can fetch silence, especially if played with 0 mana remaining. Zephyrs is really the go to card for all your needs when in a pickle, great versatility.

Cut him because like you said the deck has lots of ways to reduce the cost of spells between Kalecgos, Solia, Thaurissan, Sand Witch and Leyline Manipulator.

Yet the deck is now on HSReplay and out of 430 recorded matches sports a 69.1% winrate, currently the 2nd highest winrate deck from any class or format, only beaten by a variant of secret mage despite I'm sure lots of winnable matches being lost due to misplays since as I admitted it is not an easy deck to pilot.

69.1% is average win rate? :)
