posted a message on I Crafted Moorabi - Some Advice

I could have told you all of that about Moorabi, before you crafted it, just by looking at it's stats. It is one of the cards that IS just as bad as it seems at face value... blizzard seems to be getting good at that.

Swapped Bittertide Hydra for Leeroy Jenkins works WAY better in current meta.  Absolutely crushes Anti-Aggro Priest.

Worked GREAT! Had some problem with the standard version of the deck posted above, so I swapped out for Brann and Emperor as the author suggested. Worked on the first go with that version! TY TY TY TY

posted a message on Which Legendary should I craft next from WoG?

So far I have Twin Emperor Vek'lor, Shifter Zerus, and of course our lord and savior C'Thun.  I primarily play priest, druid, and Paladin.  Looking for some outside ideas on what I should craft as I'm sitting on 1300 dust.

posted a message on Which deck gets the best of WoG?

With the cards of WoG already being debated upon, which class do you think is going to benefit the MOST from this new expansion.  Now this is not saying which one is going to be the most OP, just which one is getting the most benefit.  Please include a valid point to support your voting when posting.

This is also the C'Thun hard counter as not only do all the missiles make gnolls but then C'Thun has to punch through all those gnolls.
Oh, I just realized how long the animation will be if he gets hit by a ping like that 6 times (or by Flamewaker/Arcane Missiles, whatever) and a Gnoll is summoned at every hit...
     ... God save us all...

posted a message on Gender Representation in Heathstone.

As far as the female option for each hero, blizzard has already kind of started to do that with the optional purchase hero's.  The warrior didn't change the gender though, but still. Whether or not they are over sexualized is between you and blizzard.  I don't know why so many people are freaking out, I myself have often said that the same can be said for the male characters in these games.  The pressure is on men as well as we are met with non stop images of Adonis after Adonis.

In the end it's our own doing, in video games people want to play a fantasy of themselves and society has put so much pressure on both men and women to be sexually attractive above all else that all most people fantasize about being is an Adonis or Aphrodite. I completely understand where you are coming from Jez, but the issue you are trying to change is so ingrained in society that your goal will take decades to change.  It's already being worked on in some areas and I wish you luck with your endeavor.

Players do not own cards, all they have are records in a game database.

Which they're asking real money for. Regardless of the nitpicky status they're still property sold for a price.

People who are mad about this change made some card buying/crafting decisions that they regret. So does everyone who craftedMillhouse Manastorm on the theory that a 4/4 for 2 is OP.

People who are mad about this change believed that Blizzard would stick to its established policy of not taking away people's collections (as they themselves stated) and that sudden changes that end up harming them (such as nerfs) would come with a limited time refund not to screw over the players.

The comparison with crafting Millhouse is frankly so asinine that I refuse to take it into consideration, market and gameplay are two entirely different worlds of choices.

Actually they only asked for a real price if you weren't willing to play the game and spend in game currency.  Therefore the value of every card you have is inherently $0.00  You place the value on it that YOU spent on it.  Thus the cycle continues and the F2P strategy continues on.
     ?
Asserting in that way doesnt make any of that nonsense true.  Blizzard sells multiple products in hearthstone, the purchase value of course changes over time- but it is not 0
By having an in-game currency system where every card is inherently free (thus the basis of a F2P game) making the inherent value of the things you purchase with real money just as valuable... worthless.  When you purchase the product in a F2P game you are doing the equivalent of buying gold in WoW, you are purchasing a possible jump start for your account.  Basically cutting corners.  I have spent money on this game as well, but do I feel angry that they are making a separate game mode for these cards? No.  Because in the end every F2P game operates the same way going all the way back to the first F2P game.  It is a monetary cash grab, the longer it takes you to get something in the game the more likely you are to spend money to cut corners.
Blizzard does indeed sell multiple products in hearthstone, but the ones you cannot unlock through playing the game are not being removed.  The heroes aren't being removed, and instead of charging people the money for the wings of Naxx, new players have the option to craft them for Wild play if they so desire.  And people wanted to OW to be F2P... I can only imagine the reaction for that game if they announced that price plan.

It's like reading about how a bunch of teenage girls are hurt because the lead singer just left their favorite boy band... it's a video game.  Moreover it's Blizzards video game so I'm pretty sure they can do whatever they want regardless of whether it screws people over.  In the end it's what EVERY company does, if you don't like the change then move onto a different video game to boycott it instead of giving them more money.  Or crying about the fact that you spent money on a video game... WHAT?! You spent MONEY on a video game?! It's unheard of!

posted a message on Baron Geddon still worth crafting?

If you are running certain decks, and ESPECIALLY with the permanency of the classic cards coming up with the release of Standard, yes he is very much worth crafting.

posted a message on New to Hearthstone!

I was afraid of that when I first started playing back in Beta.  But I was pleased when I got a spectate quest that I couldn't complete because no one I knew played in beta, that when I hit the X button it cycled into a 60g quest.
