Finally hit legend after 5 years of playing. Got very close half a year ago but could not handle the pressure. This month I shamefully jumped on the DH bandwagon and got to rank 1 in first few days. It was not deserved, so RNGesus rightfully stroked me all the way down to rank 5.

Then I switched to Galakrond Warlock to redeem myself by killing all the Demon Hunters. It took quite a few losses until I got the in and outs of that deck and slowly I started climbing back up. Every day I played a few games until I lost. I took a week of being stuck at rank 3 but I did not lose hope and got to rank 2.

Today I was going to take a shower and all of a sudden I felt this weird sensation in the back of my back and I knew today I will get to legend. I felt like a Neo in Matrix when he realizes he is the chosen one. I sat down to my laptop and started playing. Staying calm like a monk. It felt great. DH after DH dying like flies. Then I got to my last boss...Demon Hunter again. I lost by difference of 1 health.

Following match was token druid which is pretty bad matchup. He did all his shenanigans with Kaelthas and it seemed desperate. I almost pressed the concede button, but in the last second I played plague of flames with only few minions on board. It killed Kaelthas and I stabilized.

Final boss no. 2 again token druid. I was pretty nervous, but I got lucky in the end. He discarded his witch and allowed me to kill his Kaelthas cheaply. I won. Biggest adventure I experienced in month long quarantine!

 Nobody is triggered by contents of the post but rather by the form. This guy posts these shitty posts every other day and it really takes the hearthpwn culture down the drain.

I got golden Grommash Hellscream in the first one a epic in other two I have opened so I got pretty lucky. But you are right, pity timer is independent so it is just about luck since it seems you will never even get close to pity timer.

For example I got on average every 21. a legendary and every 4th an epic. This time it was pretty good.

Thats how it is. It doesn´t depent on how much money you spent in game. Or should Blizz gave the payers a better pitty timer? I don´t think so.

There´s no reason to be offended.

 First, the pitty timer is 40 packs not 30. Check your data before you post. Second, Blizzard only guarantees average drop rate for legendaries which is one legendary per 20 packs. There is of course variance to this so it is not guaranteed to get that many legendaries but you can also get more. OP got really below average result and I fully understand why he is triggered. I would be as well if I would pay the price for new AAA game and got one fifth of the content.

 They don’t guarantee anything, but the community found out by themselves about that 40 packs pity timer. So much for checking data.... 

In World of Tanks there is something similar going on atm. You can buy Lootboxes , wich always give you a minimum of value. BUT if you’re really lucky you have the chance to open a Tier 8 Tank ( usually 30-40$) . EVERY Contentcreator/Youtuber tells their viewers to NOT buy those boxes in hope to get a Tank out of it. It’s a good deal in general ,but to aim for a Tank is just pure gambling ( maybe even more than in HS) to buy packs/ bundles in hopes of getting X-amount of Legendarys. 

People should only expect the minimum and be happy when they get more. Still... I guess some will always complain, even if they are told what can happen.

 I never stated they guarantee the pity timer. Read thoroughly before reacting. I said they guarantee average drop rate of 1 legendary per 20 packs and that is actually true, since they had to reveal this because of Chinese laws.
