I find Evolve shaman extremely boring. There are no decisions involved when playing this deck. You either get the weapon and good rolls or not. With Paladin the gameplay is more engaging in my opinion and there are more options for tech cards to have some variance.

Although enjoyment of a deck all comes down to personal preference, evolve shaman (more so the jambre list than the aggro list) is actually a quite skill intensive deck to play. Like any deck it can be ruined (or saved) by rng, but there are quite a lot of decisions to make in the midgame

I'm not saying you're wrong, I've only ever played a couple of games with it but all I ever see my opponents do is pull the weapon with the 2 mana minion, spam as much of their hand onto the board as possible, hit hero power whenever the mana is available, play knuckles on 5, the pirate on 8 and maybe have to hold a couple more turns before drawing the weapon or pirate again. They go face almost anytime its possible and just spam cheap minions onto the board and either win or lose.

It's never seemed a particularly skillful deck to play but maybe I'm only seeing one side of it because I haven't played it extensively.

There is no other side, you perfectly described the only game plan of this deck.

posted a message on It will finally happen! Changes incoming

The fact that there was community backlash is good because Blizzard was obviously testing waters how far they can push it and luckily it did not work for them. Hopefully this will be a lesson for them and lead to better Heartstone in the future.

    Thank you for this post.

    1. it's BS to invite someone based on their gender or race. next we will have LGBTQP soon and that will be the day I say goodbye to Hearthstone. We don't want politics and reverse discrimination in games. Black lives matters was the last proof we had, a bunch of terrorists disguising under black people. like Christ rock once said, "I love black people, but i hate N*ggers", his quote , not mine. I also agree, Pathra is not the best player, but if Blizzard wants to give her a chance, at least she got it.

    2. Hearthstone is AFFORDABLE, I can spend $40 and get additional 80-100 extra packs and I would probably have most cards and craft some legendaries I want. Those who think Hearthstone is expensive... well just play battlegrounds or try a mobile game.. where you will face pay2win players who spent tens of thousands of dollars. Blizzard games are cheap..15bux a month for WoW, 15-20$ per month for HS. I work and have a multilevel marketing business, which means i spent 2 hours max everyday gaming. If you work more than you play games, theoratically you should have money for luxury. Other people that I know spent money on things like bicycles, expensive dining , good for them, I spend mine on blizzard games.

    3. Zeddy please just shut up.

Did you really just flexed with your pyramid scheme business to make a point how Hearthstone is affordable?

posted a message on You people deserve sweet f all - Opinion on the community

Another keyboard messiah who has the need to show it to the community. The fact is Blizzard either blatantly lied about changes affecting whole player base or made stupid mistakes when implementing it. Either way it does not reflect good on the company and it is clear people will get aggravated. I am not sure why do you think you have any right to decide when people have right to complain or not...isn't that entitled in the same way you say these complainers are? Do you think this lengthy post of yours will change the mind of people who are not happy with the new system? From my point of view this is just flame post aimed to piss off some people and does not create any meaningful discussion whatsoever.

posted a message on The Pepper Thread - Share your good vibes!

Just played one of the coolest games of my hearthstone career. I went with Tickatus warlock against control mage. Got Y'shaarj and Tickatus on curve so it was clear his deck is gonna get nuked. However poor guy got Octosari from Conjurer's calling right after first Tickatus and then another one after second Tickatus...by turn 11 his deck was gone and next turn he died by 8 cards in fatigue. I felt bad for the guy but the game was too epic not be happy about.

If someone isn't allowed to post their opinion about something on an online forum, where should they go?

Everyone is allowed to think what they want, agree or disagree with points made, but what's with all the toxic comments?

If someone thinks Blizzard/Activision is too greedy and their business model doesn't suit them anymore, that's fine, you may stop playing the game to show your dissatisfaction. But the problem is, these people keep playing, and keep posting about how they hate the company and the game... which just makes the whole community worse off, because these comments keep pouring back in every time something happens.

Remember that thing that happened with Blitzchung and losing his winnings? Everyone said they were going to boycott HS and the game was going to die... but here we are, it's still going on. And even he's still playing the game, despite that.

The game is the way it is... pay for it or don't - but don't think Blizzard or HS owes you anything.

You complain about people not being able to express their opinions and toxic comments yet you proceed to bash people who are not happy about Blizzard's actions and repeat the same toxic "call out" to all the haters originally made to stir some good old flame war. Looks like you're being a bit of a hypocrite bruh.

The new system looks great for free to play players. I'm really struggling to see why those who are not paying for the game are still complaining?

You have the same rewards as those who pay (excluding some cosmetic skins) and the ability to grind out huge amounts of gold if you put in the time (not to mention multiple free legendaries and packs).

Blizzard has mentioned multiple times that rewards will be the same, if not more than the previous system.

In addition, the system is front-loaded, the first rewards are easy to obtain and take little effort. This system seems to allow free to play players the ability to grind enough gold to get quite a few packs when the expansion drops next week, the battleground pass, or to save for the mini-expansion.

There is a big thread on reddit where somebody crunches the numbers and even with optimistic approximations it seems the system will overall net you less reward for the time spend compared to previous system. It is masked by front-loading the system with easy reward but damn, the greed is real. This is first time I am actually really pissed off at Blizzard. They will not see any money from me even if it means I can build only 1 or 2 competitive decks an expansion.
