from my perspective (youtube content, friends, topics like this) it seems people didn't really play Rumble that much after they saw what's up. to me there are several factors that make this, as I would agree, a very poor singleplayer experience.
- unable to choose freely the shrines, some shrines I've barely ever seen. sometimes you want to play a specific shrine but the only way to secure the option is to encounter the shrine and surrender.
- spiking difficulty (you can easily lose on your first game because of insane shrines, like if Hooktusk steals some early drop and you get overrun in cards and board control)
- no reward for exploring content (this is at the same time subtle and huge)
- wild unbalance of power cards
- no great incentive to 'help' our troll champ. I don't care for this tournament, what's at stake?
I think the best reward for a singleplayer like this would be to reward something for each class win and wrap it up with a enticing reward at the end. (perhaps a skin?) if you add the ability to play whatever class you want (and its 3 shrines) then you got a winner for me.

It's not fun, it's not challenging, it's just a pain in the butt.
Everything is so random, you have no control over building a deck with good synergy.
But even if you manage to do so and had the pleasure to start with a decent shrine, you just know that the final boss will be a counter match up or/and will draw godly and you will draw complete shit.
At least that's my experience so far. Either I die at the first or second boss due to simply not having a chance with the given deck, or I have no problems up to the final boss where I never had the slightest chance due to bad draw or unholy draw by the boss.
I'm playing Hearthstone for over 4 years now, played every possible single player mode to completion and have achieved anything a normal hs player can think of (rank Legend, several 12 win arena runs, but not every hero golden), so i think my opinion is not complete waste.
This mode is utter shit. Nonstop frustration due to unfair matchups or bad starts plus boredom and random cards offers who can ruin a decent run just don't form an amazing single player experience. For some it may sound salty, but i like hard and challenging, it's just that the Rumble Run is completely bad design from start to finish and should not exist in this form.
I hope Blizzard will do much better next time, it's sad to have this Rumble Run experience where something awesome could have see the day of light.

Totally get what you’re saying if it’s in respect to Kingsbane Rogue. The problem with that argument is that anyone who played Kingsbane Rogue was morally bankrupt and is getting what they deserve!

the problem of it being really annoying and not fun is in the old dungeon run you at least could choose a calss to start your run but now you just choose between 3 different shrine that will also decide what class you can choose which can be a problem if you want to be better at a certin class and play style you are screwed becuase you will constantly switch classes and srhines its even worse when some shrines are just terrible and will almost always lose you a run .
the worst thing is they removed the things I loved about the older runs like for example secret bosses and secret cards and unique boss encountres also passive abilities are only given once and they are only at the last 2 fights.

Good luck with that. If you want 6 companions, then you must be playing spell hunter, so you'll also have a bunch of random Kill Commands and Flanking Strikes killing your minions, and Spellstones filling your board with wolves.

I honestly don't understand why they had to nerf Giggling Inventor. This was a very good card against aggro decks and now it's literally unplayable. Is Blizzard pushing the aggro meta harder? Because I really don't want this..

People absolutely hated playing against turn one mana wyrm, and I for one, and among a majority of players, am glad that's gone. Could they have done it better? Yes. Do I care? No.
Mage does need a new turn one play though. They basically don't have any good turn one plays in standard anymore.
Druid's class tools are not overpowered. They are amazing because UI rewards ramp. But before UI, nourish wasn't even played. UI enables ramping without sacrificing card advantage, and that's rotating soon, so wild growth and nourish will not be nearly as good as they are now after rotation.

Obviously Druid is going to have to be nerfed a lot. Whomever decided it was a good idea to make druid the class that can armour up most easily should be fucking fired. That is its biggest issue, they can stall for so long and while the stalling is annoying, the fact that they're armouring up to double their starting health is the most busted part. So either nerf their ability to stall out games for that long, but leave them with the ability to armour up or vice versa.
Nerf either Naturalise to cost 2 man, Spreading Plague Scarabs to be 1/4s (2 mana 1/5 taunts don't make any sense) to slow down their stalling factor
Or nerf their armour gain. While I think 4 mana heal for 12 is perfectly along the rules of previous cards printed, gaining armour is just better in every possible way. That's why one of the "branching paths" should be changed to heal for 6, since Druid used to be all about healing, not armouring up and this way they can't just easily go above their starting health.
That being said, I hope they nerf some of the aggro cards as well because if Druid gets destroyed, cancer aggro decks are going to jsut dominate instead of cancer combo druids. Cards that come to mind are Dire Mole, that 3/3 that gains +1/+1 after your hero attacks and basically all the cards that give even paladin any power, that shit deck has been around for too long, literally one of the most boring, broken possible decks one could play.
Sonya should also be nerfed to cost 5 mana, getting 1/1s that cheap is just busted.

This is supremely gay. I went back to play on EU after a while with a random deck, starting from rank 25 and so far I've faced Jade Druid, Big Priest, RenoLock and I'm sure I missed some. Are these losers really that bad that they're still at rank 23 at the end of hte season with tier 1 decks?

Can someone explain why this forum is full of Blizzard dickriders? I like Hearthstone as much as the next goy, often times it frustrates me to no end but at the end of the day, It's a fun game with a very good UI system. That being said, people on this forum will just defend every single thing about the fucking game.

Your percentages are definitely not representative of the actual outcomes but I like that you're interested in finding the truth. As a long time observer, I can definitely say the top 3 most frequent is definitely correct but I would bump up the coil and weapon. Grip, Shell and Decay are definitely the least common, though Decay is not as bad as the other 2

The magical thing about fun decks in hearthstone is that they stop being fun at a certain rank because all you'll face are the same degenerate decks over and over again and either your deck works against them and the gameplay gets samey after a while or it doesn't work against them and you get beaten by aggro over and over again. I love my reno mage and Dane's Reno Hunter but they're pretty hard to get past rank 11 in wild because you'll just face big priest after big priest after aggro paladin after odd/even aggro sister-in-law blablablalbalba

People who are saying "hue hue most diverse meta ever" are fucking brain dead. There is no diversity, everyone is playing mindless odd/even aggro decks that are all basically just the same. Or they're playing some OTK bullshit, which are also all basically the same. The meta is shit and the odd/even cards are some of the most cancerous fucking shit the game has ever had.
Also saw a thread about wild being diverse, that's fucking untrue as well. It's either filled with the same kinds of shit retarded non-interactive OTK decks, or it's just odd/even aggro decks from standard with a couple of wild cards. Today I faced Big Priest and Weapon Rogue over and over again, only break I got from them was to face the same fucking aggro decks from standard.
The meta is shit and the people calling it diverse need to be fuckign taken behind the shed and shot

Is it just me or is Archmage Arugal artwork absolutely horrible and ugly? Looks like a character from a DOS game in the 90s. This is the only card's artwork in the game that just distracts me because it's so ugly and with the 2/2 stats it just looks really goofy. Can we buff its artwork please.

I was going to dust a bad epic so I would have enough to craft a legendary, so I right clicked on it and instinctively hit the left button that DEFINITELY SAYS DISENCHANT and quickly clicked off of it, because it's such an automated process by this part. BUT INSTEAD, it created another one of that awful epic card and so I was at a net loss of 300 dust and can't craft a legendary now. Why the hell did this happen?
