Vajaina posted a message on [Rank 5] The Element of SurprisePosted in: [Rank 5] The Element of SurpriseI've ran iterations of the deck with it, I really did not find it useful through those games. But you could always remove Shiv or Journey Below for it.
This deck only runs one Gadgetzan Auctioneer though, I would not advise running Conceal at all.

Apart from Chromaggus I don't see the point of slamming a couple of dragons into an otherwise regular Grim Patron warrior deck. Putting 2 gimmicks in the same deck is rarely a good idea.
And with only 5 dragons (including itself...) you're not gonna be able to consistantly activate Twilight Guardian.

I don't think Kel'Thuzad is good enough in this deck:
- against the majority of the meta (aggro) you're gonna be playing reactively most of the game and won't be able to get value out of him since you never have the board (until the end, and then you've already won)
- against control you've got more than enough tools to overwhelm them already (Duplicate/Echo of Medivh on key minions like Emperor Thaurissan, Sylvanas Windrunner or Alexstrasza)
- in general the synergy isn't really there, getting a Twilight Drake resurrected is terrible, and there isn't really any other decent midrange body to bring back to life other than Sludge Belcher (who rarely survives a turn)
In the end I decided to replace him with Ragnaros the Firelord since he has a direct impact on the board and can tip the scales in your favor against midrange and control. Also getting him duplicated is often auto-win

Oh look another self-proclaimed "gimmicky" druid deck that runs double combo. I wonder what the actual win condition could be

Tempo. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

So you played this legend-proof deck, and had trouble against every single archetype?
It seems like the problem is sitting between the chair and computer

Blizzard + Doomsayer is best against control and midrange decks if you suspect they don't have a way to silence or remove him.
Against aggro you can play it "on curve" turn 2 or 3 to kill a couple of small minions and regain board initiative.
You can also play him with duplicate up if you suspect it'll get killed, and that you can get repeated value from your 2 new doomsayers (if you discover more freezing area of effects pretty much, so another Blizzard, a Frost Nova or a Cone of Cold).
If you find yourself in a dire situation, you might want to drop it behind a Sludge Belcher or even Deathlord (yikes, the anti-synergy...) but that's really if there's no other better option

I really like the concept, what do you think could be replaced for an Echo of Medivh?

Try this :)

Elise Starseeker is amazing in this deck, essentially a second win condition on her own (in case you don't manage to lower your opponent's health enough to finish them with Malygos).
With all the draws, getting to the Golden Monkey isn't even that difficult, just had 2 back to back games where that happened (1 win against control priest, 1 loss against control warrior)
