Both good questions, which is exactly why I'm looking for feedback. Thanks for the response.
1) I found my self picking a lot of one-ofs anyway (including all the legendaries), so it didn't seem like a huge stretch to make it a Reno deck. With that said, Reno has only yielded a win in a few of the control matchups I've played, where 2-ofs would likely come in handy more often. I might try this.
2) Genn was the whole point of the experiment. Otherwise, I'm just playing regular N'Zoth warrior. I agree, the key question is whether the 1-mana hero power is worth giving up cards like Brawl (I've asked myself that a few times after an Even Shaman drops a heavy board). But again, trying Genn was the whole point.
I also agree this build doesn't have the power level compared to some other classes since N'Zoth is a slow effect, and it only happens once unless you use Dead Man's Hand on it.
Any ideas on how to up the "cheat" factor? Barnescould be good for the deathrattles. Any recruit mechanic seems bad for the battlecry minions like N'Zoth.
Hey all...I'm trying a new build, and it has been doing decently well so far at Rank 5, but with an admittedly small sample size (only 16 games). I'm currently at 10-6, so about 62% winrate. I haven't hit much aggro yet though.
The idea is that N'Zoth warrior is decently powerful, and many of the good deathrattles (and N'Zoth of course) are even. So, the power of N'Zoth along with cheap armor gain most turns ends up being pretty good.
There are a few sketch cards that are more fun than good, but let me know if you have ideas on how to make it more legit.
Thanks! I've been trying to find a way to have fun with Splintergraft since I opened it the first day of the expansion. I see "coming soon" for the Wild version...I'm definitely interested since I mostly play Wild these days.
I just played against this deck. He played T2 Radiant Elemental, spammed PWS until he literally drew his entire deck. I had forgotten to click though the animations, so it skipped my turn (I was a little bit in awe), he played Inner Fire and boom.
My first thought went to Gadgetzan Auctioneer shenanigans. I just tried a Druid Moonfire deck and won on my second try. I also like a Rogue Kingsbane deck with Gadget, Deadly Poison, and Conceals.
Thanks guys. This has been very helpful in my decision making. If I craft one of the two, I'm currently leaning towards Patches instead of Keleseth to enable Aggro Pally based on your suggestions. I just started a new thread to try and decide between crafting cards I need for 1) Razakus, 2) Aggro Pally, or 3) a bunch of epics including those for Spiteful Dragon Priest.
Dane's "Play Dead Hunter" and "Big Rogue" are a blast. I don't have Sneed's Old Shredder, so I have to sub-in some cards. While playing Big Rogue yesterday, I coined a Kobold Illusionist on 3 which survived, and then played Baron Rivendare and traded the Kobold Illusionist on 4. It first pulled a copy of Spiritsinger Umbra, and then the second proc pulled a Silver Vanguard. The Umbra proc'd the Vanguard, which pulled a Kel'Thuzad (and something else I think?). When I ended the turn, the KT brought the Kobold Illusionist back, which of course proc'd due to the Umbra.
With the meta somewhat settling, I'm ready to spend my hard-earned dust this season. I am F2P and have been playing since Blackrock Mountain. I enjoy playing "fun" decks, but I'd like to craft at least one Tier 1 deck for laddering. I want to reach at least Rank 5 consistently to build out my collection with the free epics. I'm currently playing with Mill Rogue (I like the challenge), Secret Mage, and a few other tweaked decks.
I looked at the current meta decks from the typical sources, and listed out my missing cards from each. I'm omitting that spreadsheet here to keep things concise, but it included all the typical Tier 1 decks. I then put together three "packages" that I can choose from to craft this season. Cubelock didn't make the cut since I am missing too many cards to even have a chance, which is too bad since Carnivorous Cube looks so fun in general, and Bloodreaver Gul'dan is just a good card, but I am also missing both Voidlords and the weapon.
I have about 2800 dust available, which is how I sized the packages below. I could go nuclear and DE my extra goldens for a few more thousand, but I am choosing to avoid that.
Yes, Dane is great. I don't catch his streams, but I am subscribed to his Youtube channel and don't miss a video. I've had a lot of fun playing (budget) versions of his decks...I wish I had spare dust for Sneed's :)
So, I'm laying out my options on the best way to spend my dust this season. My goal is to create at least one Tier 1 "laddering" deck so that I can consistently hit Rank 5 for my free golden epic every season. I'm planning a more detailed post about this later, but first I have an important question:
Is it worth crafting Keleseth if I don't have Patches?
I don't want to craft Patches since he rotates out in April. I play a decent amount of Wild, but it is usually more fun (e.g. Dane) decks, not aggro. I understand that one of the big values of Keleseth is playing Captain and pulling a Kele-buffed Patches for a serious tempo swing. I'm not sure how well Tempo Rogue (and other Kele-decks) work without this synergy.

this is hilarious

Thematically I like Rafaam. Rafaam stole the golden monkey from Elise and is now wielding it.

I have the cardback collection freeze bug...otherwise it is running fine. I was trying to swap to the new corrupted card back and I can't get there.

I'm in, but it is SLOOWWWWWW. Got Face Collector. No Shudderwock, but could be worse for sure.

Sinister strike is quite good. 3 damage for 1 mana...you don't need that many Shadow Reflections. Gadgetzan Auctioneer for the extra oomph.

Broken, but pretty sweet.

It was nuts...and amazing. Value for days.

I've gotten some great community input from a previous thread I posted on Patches the Pirate and Prince Keleseth, and I got good ideas from a separate post on Prophet Velen.
