My first build was without Arugal and my first thought was in those cases you could run out of steam. He could add an extra copy of minions with spells attached. He might not be needed when you reach late game with FLJ. It depends which decks are the top dogs: Spellbreaker for lock; maybe Arcane Explosion against Dude Paladin. Mage lacks early AoE but can survive with early minions as Tar Creeper, Lone Champion or Doomsayer. My bet is Rush Warrior will be the deck to beat.
I might wait after seeing what decks are being played. I think Voodoo Doll might become staple in Minion Mage and Odd builds but I want to make sure it has perfect targets.
I think all battlecries won't mess up your Shudderwock. I feel Novice Engineer might not be needed but shaman needs card draw desperately and Mana Tide Totem isn't enough. Volcanoes and rains are perfect to survive mid game. Lightning Storm is out of my list because of the highroll and without spell power outside hero power, you'll need more than that to help you reach late game.
As a midrange-control build, you'll survive with board control through your minions. Play them, improve your spellstones, get sweet stuff, refill with Elise's pack and destroy late game with FLJ. Blazecaller is insane and you should't underestimate his power.
You underestimate the power of Book of Specters. Arugal + Book can fill your hand pretty quickly and if you don't dump any cards, next turn you overdraw.
Aluneth works in tempo builds because those decks can burn their cards very quickly. Yours look slower than any deck ever built.
You don't have early game so you're basically dead. I'm sure aggro will become prevalent and mage needs early AoE like Volcanic Potion or Twilight Flamecaller, too bad both cards are rotating.

I'm considering cutting 1 Bonfire Elemental for doll.

Thanks, that means a lot.
Minion Mage is the 2nd deck I'm most excited and can't wait to open Arugal to test it.
Hope you play this deck and enjoy it.

Thanks for the feedback
She wasn't on my list but can't find good replacements. Maybe I'll add 1 Stonehill Defender instead of her.

Arcane Keysmith has some flexibility. There are good secrets, even Frozen Clone is good if you have Leyline Manipulator.

Remember Radiant Elemental/ Lyra shenanigans?
Also, Spiteful Priest is dead after expansion hits.
