It's nice to see another iteration of Deathrattle Hunter, which is my favorite archetype.

I am quite surprised not to see any Teacher's Pets because they are great for getting a sticky minion on the board and they work great with Pack Tactics.

I do wonder if Selective Breeder and Warsong Wrangler are worth running to get copies of beast in hand.

I have been playing Brian Kibbler's version and I have had the issue of not having enough beasts in hand to make Beastmaster Leoroxx worth it.

Yikes, this is actually too evil to play: it made my opponent rage-quit once he realized that I wasn't going to have him any legendary minions.

I like the idea behind the deck: create another hunter, at least not Face Hunter.

Yet, in these times of Hearthstone your deck needs to be very efficient.

And [card]Monstrous Parrot [/card] doesn't seem worth it: it's quite good: as you can copy a deathrattle, yet there are no real winning death rattle plays in standard for Hunter. There are no longer 7/7 or 5/5 that are summoned to the board and I am not sure eve that would even be enough in current hearthstone.

Loot Hoarder is in the deck because he has synergy with Parrot, yet Tracking is only 1 mana to do the same, of course you don't have the 2/1 body, but do we need it? Yet tracking is better: you can discover what you are looking for. Loot Hoarder is always I card that I want to be good, but draw is just too cheap today, to be worth 2 mana.

And I'm wondering: were are you playing right now?
I really want to check out new Hunter decks, yet I'm not ready to craft legendaries, which are not clear crafts.

very nice and simple gameplan: play pirates, control the board with weapons and win!

Sadly Nine Lives rotated to wild this season. It was one of my favorite cards as I have a soft spot for Deathrattle Hunter.

I switched out Nerubian Eggs for Annoy-o-Trons because my first game I ended up going second with two Eggs in my hand and this deck really needs some 2-drops to be able to fight for the board.

The synergy with the Eggs is limited because you need tot pair them with the Buff cards, of which only two are playable on turn 3, Conviction (which you want to avoid prior to turn 5) and Hand of A'dal which typically floats one mana.

While Annoy-o-Tron can protect the meeting stone or another buffed minion, which equals better pressure.

I also found it valuable vs the Doom Shaman, pairing it with a buff makes a pretty nasty taunt which needs to be hit twice!

Wow Dude, this looks really like a fun deck.

After I have learned to get used to Shaman more with Thijs' eLULmental deck, I do want to run this one. Mutanus is a deceptive strong card as it can protect your board, yet it is also very dicey.

I do believe that it even fits better in this deck and the Rune Dagger is really bonkers, 2 mana 2x Spell Power is actually OP, I forgot because how poor Shaman used to be.

I also love your energy, you're really uplifting!

Yes, I see, yet I feel that this case is pretty limited in it's occurrence: you need the coin, draw or hold a Python in hand by turn two and draw the Mok'Nathal Lion in hand.

If only there was a 4 mana deathrattle that we would like to play, This would have more consistency, because it would curve reduced cost 4-drop DR into Lion on 4.

I am thinking that maybe Tracking is a 'cutable' card but it does improve the consistency of drawing the cards when you need them.

Maybe I'm just wanting too much from this deck, it's not that Tier 1 is a possibility, my current feeling is like Tier 3 at best.

How is your experience so far with the adjustments, which you made?

I'm waiting for the nerfs to hit to give Deathrattle another shot. The current agro deck decks are way to consistent to have a decent win-rate against and Hunter lacks any decent form of AoE, so it really struggles. I was even thinking about tring to fit Wretched Tutor in order to get some AoE but Turn 4 with the coin might be too late to counter agro, so I was thinking Bola Shot but that card is only good vs wide boards. But that is what I found most difficult to handle so far. Once a Hunter or Paladin goes wide vs this deck, the game is lost.

Well I have more questions than answers, so I'll let it be for the moment.

One suggestion straight of the bat: drop one Deadly Shot for Mankrik. Unless you really need two Deadly Shots.

With so many < 5 cost beast, isn't Guardian Animals way to inconsistent?

And with so low tempo plays in the beginning, how do you gain back the board in this current meta?

It seems to me that this deck is trying to do too many things at once. but it might work, I don't know.

What is your stance on Carrion Studies?

I was thinking, this is a low tempo play, maybe it's best to switch it out for a higher tempo card?

Yes, some form of life-gain is what Hunter needs to be somewhat viable as not a SMORC class.

I like the adaptations you have made, it does make sense to look for higher tempo cards and Tame Beast seems just that, nice flexible and scales well.

I'll try out your changes as well. I'm hoping that the nerfs of next weel, Crabrider to 1/3, would make those Paladin and Rush Warrior match-ups less terrible.

I just want to add that Mystery Winner is not a bad card, it's nice flexibility.

It seems to me that what this deck need is some more powerful early game or minion buff to have more synergy with the eggs and the understated front half of the Deathratle minions, much like how aggro Paladin is able to spin the board out of control.

So I was thinking maybe the 2 mana buff two adjacent minions? I really think this deck needs to go in a more aggressive direction by strengthening the early game, so it doesn't fall behind too much because Hunter really struggles when behind on board.

I'm currently running a list in which I try to lower the curve and get more flexibility:
    Running
    +2 Mystery Winners
    for
    -1 Scrapyard Colossus
    -1 Nagrand Slam

I also added 2x Quick Shot, just to be able to react more to Crabrider before it get's out of hand. I even added one Burrowing Scorpid which works well with the Scavenger's Ingenuitiy to be able to finish off minions behind a taunt.

Yet the power level of Paladin and Rush Warrior is still quite high to get over the hump and into turn 7-8 to get to the win-condition of this deck. It is still quite powerful vs Control but now has a little less consistency.

Maybe after the next set of nerfs I get deathrattle Hunter to a state where it's comfortable Tier 2-3. It just has too many punishing match-ups IMHO.
