And, don’t get your panties in a twist, this isn’t a salt thread, merely me explaining how I feel and potentially how I would handle it, should people realize that’s what I’m trying to do.
I’m genuinely curious, do you guys think Hearthstone would be better without RNG or with reduced RNG? I dislike how games can be decided on luck, whereas with less RNG the only RNG is topdecking, which can’t be avoided. I think that if the game wasn’t built with RNG as a factor, I would probably play the game more (well, at all)
Tl;dr I think the rampant amount of RNG is bad for the game.
I really want to ask a World of Warcraft classic developer a question about implementing a must have in-game tool that was only added in the later expansions that I would really like when WoW classic is release.
I just can't find anywhere I can ask, I'm thinking like Twitter or sending a support ticket. But I don't know.
1. Check the WoW forums maybe.
2. What in-game tool? LFD/LFR? They’d better not add either.
Didn’t realize that telling someone they’re wrong is complaining but okay
I see. So I ain't complaining if I make a thread about the horrible design of Explosive Runes, or Jade Idol or whatever else. I am just telling the whole design team they were wrong to think those were good ideas.
That's different. You're comparing an egg white to an egg yolk - similar, but not the same.
I'm saying someone's wrong for thinking something without complaining about it, just saying why they're wrong.
If you're doing what you explained, that's complaining.
Even though this bundle is the same cost as a normal bundle and has a hero, something only in the mega bundle before, which even then wasn't bad.
The bundle is not same as normal bundle. My shop says for 49.99 you get 40 cards for any other bundle. The pre-order is 50 cards + hero + card back for 49.99.
Meh for 20 dollars I will be getting a few hundred cards for Artifact and enjoy something that isn't going to be as stale as a 5 year old box of cereal only a month after release. Have fun playing defender for cosmetic sales and Blizzard taking advantage of people's obvious want to collect things in a collectible card game. Clearly a more compelling endeavor than playing HS itself.
I don't even play the game, I'm just defending this. I'm not defending the game as a whole - I just don't think they should be thrown under the bus for something that isn't bad.

MTG has almost no RNG other than card draws, and it’s a card game.
2
Other than Tic Tac Toe, those are skill-based. Why shouldn’t other games be the same way?

Fair, I personally just dislike the feeling that you can lose because your opponent got the perfect card from discover or a similar effect.

Just because you don't physically own something doesn't mean it doesn't have any value.

Those were bonuses, not new standards.

I meant normal pre-order bundle.

Evasion: No. We don't need more RNG.
Guard: No, based on what I understand this is. This would be a nightmare for control until people adapt to it, which would take a while.
Perk: No. I don't even know where to start.

Hate =/= telling someone they're wrong

I know it's coming. Dr_Scaphandre still exists, sadly.

I'd say the hero and card back are, technically, though I don't think it's a bad thing.
