No, you just unequip the weapon and give it to a minion, there is a special animation for that when they carry your weapon on the battlefield. Lmao bro, I think you are the only person who would think about this interaction. It doesn't even says weapon's attack or stats, it says "and your weapon".
Other comments have mentioned/joked that the English is poorly written (see InnocentKitten and GnammyH) and gotten the most upvotes. Granted, there are a lot of Hearthstone cards that don't make sense out of context (e.g. to a new player seeing this for the first time)
I got this card in arena with Priest. Extremely strong - either wins the game or forces opponent to play hard removal when you already have board control
The wording is confusing. Given the mana cost it's safe to assume that the corrupt part applies to the weapon (not giving the weapon's stats to a minion).

Finally!

Do these have to be standard decks? I was thinking about adding in Thaurisan as cost-reduction backup.

Wow, the Warrior one is so easy compared to Hunter

The hunter hero power OTK deck (recently featured) by YeetBurger_1441 is high on the meme scale and looks fun:
https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1385510-hunter-hero-power-otk
Scabbs Cutterbutter with Potion of Illusion, Spirit of the Shark, and Tenwu of the Red Smoke and card of choice (e.g. Alexstrasza the Life-Binder, Kronx Dragonhoof, etc.) can be a fun build-around combo
But if you really want ridiculous, how about this. Obtain Time Warp. Play Aluneth with space in hand and close to an empty deck. Then play Educated Elekk, Sorcerer's Apprentice x2, Time Warp. Next turn Molten Reflection the Elekk, play Wildfire, then Fireball the new Elekk, shuffling Time Warp, Molten Reflection, Wildfire, and Fireball into your deck. Repeat infinite turns until your hero power damage is as high as desired and OTK the opponent (yes, I still call this an OTK)

I'm thinking about crafting Sir Finley of the Sands. Worth it?

Yeah, I don't really see why this card would be run in any deck, but it will be nice to add to the collection

Will be included in Raza Priest

A standard OTK is possible by playing Dark Inquisitor Xanesh, then corrupting Horrendous Growth to lethal stats, then playing Soulbound Ashtongue, Silas Darkmoon to give the Soulbound Ashtongue to your opponent, playing Horrendous Growth, then Animated Broomstick, after which you attack the opponent's Soulbound Ashtongue with your insanely buffed Horrendous Growth .

This is definitely a buff to Spell Shaman, but seems to be an ambitious option to include in a deck due to it's slowness against aggro decks.

I spent about 2,000 gold yesterday just to try to get Cloak of Shadows. : )

I looks like all of the essential combo cards are in Standard.
