Bad players are usually the ones complaining about other players and RNG even though they mostly lose due to their own misplays. I sugges using HSTracker and rewatch your games.

TheScot posted a message on How to spot a bad player in HearthstonePosted in: General DiscussionQuote from Hairy_Potter >>You know you are reading a bad thread when:
someone called synthetikmisery claims a players ability to play hs good is directly linked to their name.
Yeah, original poster definitely walked straight into this one. Direct quote from his little rant about names: "Add in bad spelling"
Synthetic has a 'c,' not a 'k' - bad spelling means bad player, right?

Synthetikmisery posted a message on How to spot a bad player in HearthstonePosted in: General DiscussionTo be fair, not much thought is required to play this game well. Rng is the name of the game.
Thanks. That's another sign of a bad player.
If what you say is true then everyone would be legend rank. RNG is there with any game but it takes making good plays to be a good player and that takes thought.. for example. If I play minion A what counter would my opponent have to it.
That is one example of why you need to think to be a good player.
It isn't just about RNG. -

Kovachut posted a message on Reckless Experimenter NerfPosted in: General DiscussionOk, they forgot about Reckless Experimenter when they announced their new shiny mech, and they had to nerf the old card along with releasing it.
But they also forgot about Corpse Widow, which does the same thing but 2 turns later and as a 3 cards combo with Mechwarper. Looks like they didn't think out that new mech well, after all.
The devs said, that they will do something about Mechwarper, if this combo becomes problematic in wild.
Hey Folks,
After the announcement of the Rise of the Mech update, we became aware of an interaction between SN1P-SN4P and Reckless Experimenter that allows for an early-game infinite damage combo in Priest. As a result of this, we’ve opted to make a change to Reckless Experimenter to go along with the 14.4 patch (scheduled to release June 3) so this combo is no longer possible. We’re also aware of some interactions that SN1P-SN4P creates in Wild when played alongside multiple copies of Mechwarper. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how that plays out over the following weeks.
Even though Chris Sierra didn't meantion Corpse Widow in his reddit post, the devs might be aware of the beast's existence, but consider the 2/3 mech to be problematic. If you ask me, no mech hunter would add Corpse Widows to its deck, because the minion is really expensive and useless in almost all other scenarios (mech hunter is an aggro deck after all and its win-condition is overwhelming the opponent with buffed minions as quick as possible). Unlike priest hunters can't fetch deathrattles, so pulling off the combo wouldn't be that consistent. Not to mention, one of the class's weaknesses is drawing cards.
I could see a mid-range hybrid deck popping up next week - consisting of some mechs and many deathrattle minions - but we need to see how viable it will turn out to be.

user-27679277 posted a message on Is this community getting more and more toxic?Posted in: General DiscussionWhenever I create post pointing out to tier 1 consisted only of aggro, this is what I got:
- usual "salt thread" annoying post
- i have no clue about HS and I must be Rank 20, because there is Warrior! (I am rank 5, legend a lot of times, Warrior is nor tier 1 according to hsreplay, metastats etc.)
- that I won't be missed after quitting etc.
I wouldn't mark any post as "discussion" and when I am reading recent topics, it is hard to find any discussion actually. Is community getting down with quality like HS, basically following quality curve?

TheScot posted a message on Literally nobody uses original decks whether it's casual or ranked (If any, it's like less than 5%)Posted in: Standard FormatFinal thought on this topic:
There are only so many ways to build a good deck of a certain archetype. Many people start with a "netdeck" list and then change a few cards to fit their preferences. Newsflash, however -- changing even just 3 cards is 10% different from the original deck, and is enough of a change to count as a new deck. So, there ya go, that person just made their own deck.

It would better clarify if you can hint us on what makes it unique, like your twist on the deck.I dunno. I decided archivist wasn't necessary. I just try to out value her in mirrors. My last game was just this vs a bomb warrior with archivist. I also don't run executes or shield slams. I rely on my minions for removal. Makes my deck very threat heavy.
Nothing unique. But, definitely my own deck. Just climbed to rank 4 with it, so it's not bad for a homebrew.
Great! Now you've revealed the secret and it's going to become net decked and no longer original! :)

logankraus posted a message on Reckless Experimenter Nerf Coming June 3Posted in: NewsThis doesn’t break Mechathun priest. For the combo, none of the cards were ever reduced to 0. As for other decks, I don’t know of any actual viable decks that use Reckless Experimenter. The change also prevents other potential unintended interactions with the card in the future.

dirbrian posted a message on Reckless Experimenter Nerf Coming June 3Posted in: NewsQuote from Holy8Beast >>The problem lies with the fact that they missed seeing that interaction. And is Reckless Experimenter is an old card and SN1P-SN4P is a new one, it would be fairer to adress a non existing card that has seen zero play, rather than an existing card.
Ask yourself why they decided to nerf an indirect card and not the directly problematic card: Warsong Commander versus Grim Patron
Because it was not Grim Patron, the newly released card that was the issue: It was Warsong Commander that would limit future design.
Your logic is to always nerf the most recent card than the most problematic cards.
That means, no nerfs to: Undertaker Warsong Commander Master of Disguise Blade Flurry Naga Sea Witch [/card]Murloc Warleader[/card] Patches the Pirate Molten Giant etc.
If you haven't been playing HS for long; I'd recommend researching the list of History Nerfs-- specifically combos with infinite value:https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Card_changes
The classic basic cards are rebalanced because for the exact reason you mention as the contradiction: Its much older cards where they balanced from a limited amount of resource and experience. Many combinations and even mechanics like Charge, they never were aware about it being a problem in the future; especially infinite value-type cards.
And sometimes they don't nerf those directly yet it fixes the problem. Grim Patron + Warsong Commander

the nerfs aren't here for me either, my opponent just played Faceless Lackey into a Pogo-Hopper
*edit* nevermind, that patch comes later, I am dumb, feel free to ignore me.

Here's to a new, and better meta.
1
except with Elysiana you can chose any legendary you want instead of just getting a random one
4
whats sad is that people like you can't tell a complaint thread from any other thread discussing cards.
2
what I am wondering is if there will be a dust Pre-fund, where they gives us a discount on the cards so we can craft them.
1
I was expecting there to be a blue-post from blizzard explaining this new update, but there wasn't. I am a bit disappointed, I would love to hear from blizzard about why they decided to change their no-buff policy.
2
I don't understand, would you rather that they just stopped making new sets after league of explorers, and left us in that meta for ever?
you are basically saying that making new cards is bad because then the cards that are good now and no longer good. but that is just plain wrong, the game needs new cards to grow, otherwise it would be the same game for 5 years, instead we have new decks every 4 months, with nerfs to keep things interesting in between.
you also mention that wild is a bad thing, that makes no sense. think about it, if they never make a wild format, then standard would be wild, and if you want that, then you can go play wild. would you rather they never rotated cards out, and everyone has to play wild all the time with no option to play standard?
2
how do you think this deck will hold up after the nerfs? Obviously the nerf to Elysiana will not hurt the deck much, I was mainly referring to how the meta will shift, and if you think the deck will get better, or worse matchups.
I will experimenter some, but I would like to hear what you have to say about how good you think the deck is after the nerfs.

would you really run a brew master on the off chance that it is against another control deck and you happen to be going first? probably not, like you said, its a coin flip. so you would probably not want to give up a card slot just so you can maybe expand your deck.
