I’m playing a standard Prince Keleseth with Corpsetaker option. The deck works very well but I seem to get smoked by Quest Mage. Is it worth adding a tech card just for this match up or should I just take the loss and move on ? Maybe I’m playing it wrong but I can’t ever seem to do enough face damage before the fireball-palooza. Feels like a auto loss which is fine it that’s how it is. I’m just curious if there’s an option here....
In the absence of another 1 drop, do you play the 1 drop pirate, or skip turn 1 and wait for the +1,+1 on turn 3 especially when you have the coin.
I’ve had luck with skip turn 1, hero power turn 2, coin + Southsea Deckhand and Southsea Captain. I love the early damage it does but I’m not sure it’s good use of the coin.
I'm playing the N'Zoth, the Corruptor death-rattle highlander deck show below. I've tried a couple different mulligan strategies and wanted to get some ideas on which is better.
Originally I was throwing EVERYTHING back except for Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin. I figured this was the ultimate goal so why not go for it hard right from the start. However, the early game suffered especially against some aggro decks.
Thanks for all the tips. I think you made some great points. I am running deathrattle version. And as you mentioned, I am running Prophet Velen without Mind Blast. I can see how this is less than optimal. Here's the deck I am using. Any suggestions to make space? Should I switch out Mass Dispel for Silence. I like the card draw....
I'm running 2 corpsetakers in my murloc paladin and feel like I'm getting pretty good value... I do run the lifesteal charge to activate lifesteal on the corpsetaker
Ideally Wickerflame Burnbristle would be there instead but I only plan on playing paladin for 75 more wins and then am going to switch over to priest or rogue. I'm not willing to spend the dust with the switch in the near future....
Thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like I should focus curving through mana more than looking for ideal synergies.
WRT Chillblade Champion, its in there for the synergy with Corpsetaker to activate lifesteal. When buffed it has also provided a quick heal to get me through...
I'm wondering if I am being too greedy looking for the perfect 1, 2, 3 drop. For example, lets say I have a Hydrologist, some other 6 drop and a Murloc Warleader. I know the 6 drop gets sent back but what about the warleader?
Similarly, I've been mulligining Righteous Protector in search of a other murloc. I also feel like I'd like to play the protector later with a buff?
I'm running bone drake in my murloc deck and it seems to be going fairly well. I am using Chillblade Champion and have been able to buff it in several games...
This is somewhat related to my other post but I was wondering about removing Tirion Fordring and Grimscale Chum from the deck I have been using and perhaps putting in 2 X Argent Squire
As I said in my earlier post, while the deck is flexible I tend to run it more aggressive and by the time I have to play Tirion Fordring, I'm usually in trouble.
I have to say as well, perhaps I'm not playing this deck with the right mindset... I do play this as a more aggressive style. I play Tirion Fordring, but I find that if I am that late into the game, I'm in trouble. I was actually considering dropping him and adding an Argent Squire for synergy with Sunkeeper Tarim. It feels crazy though to drop Tirion.....
I just hate to lose the Murloc Tidecaller so early when I can buff him up later for larger attack.... I also feel like I've seriously depleted my hand to pump him. Then to lose him right away makes me question my strategy. Like I said, it seems like it's hit or miss. Worst case is when pirate warrior plays N'Zoth's First Mate and out comes Patches the Pirate

Hi All,
I have about 90 wins left to get golden rogue. Would I be better off grinding it out in wild or standard? And what deck would you suggest?

That’s my thinking as well.

I’m playing Corpsetaker rogue with typical pirate assortment of cards. After muligan I often have Southsea Captain and either Swashburglar or Southsea Deckhand which of course pulls out Patches the Pirate.
In the absence of another 1 drop, do you play the 1 drop pirate, or skip turn 1 and wait for the +1,+1 on turn 3 especially when you have the coin.

Hi All,
I'm playing the N'Zoth, the Corruptor death-rattle highlander deck show below.
I have now started keeping Northshire Cleric and Power Word: Shield and sometimes Tar Creeper or Stonehill Defender. Depending on match up I might keep a AOE card or Shadow Word: Pain for shaman match up.
Do you think it is best to mulligan for a better early game or go all out for the cards you will ultimately need to create the win condition?

I'm running a pretty standard Murloc Mid Range Deck.
