I agree, I recently had to cave just for 2 cards(Amazing Reno and Risky Skipper)... bought the whole boring expansion for 2 cards.. Rather unfair. Had to spend over an hour just to get to play with them too, its really bad business all around.
Marshspawn isn't clunky generally but the other 2 are so extremely hard to benefit from... They do have the old standard for value for cost (8 damage 5 mana, 5 mana 4/6 with an ability)... They are just rather weak cards all around when being release with this set. Marshspawn doesn't even have great discover options because well... It's discovering from shaman spells and there are a lot of whiffs thanks to the classic set.
I opened this thread and was like wow a good Demon Hunter draft but then I checked the date and it made sense. The last Demon Hunter I faced played 1 non outcasted sigil runner and then played 14 neutral cards and proceeded to get stomped... I honestly felt bad because I hate playing Neutralstone Arena..
When I first read this card I didn't realize the egg would have stats but be more like a dormant minion. Thought wow, Meta defining, definitely a new deck archetype. Went into the reddit comments and was brought to light that this is indeed trash >.> Egg needs to be minimum 0/7 stats to be viable.
I want more cards like Kazakus, where you make something to help you in certain situations. Cards that generate randomly uncraftable but stronger than average cards like Lich King and Ysera. Cards where you make decisions in game, like vulpera scoundral. I generally do a lot better in Arena when I can make choices to win the match and not just choices to win the draft, especially considering external applications are guiding people on how to draft but not play...
I honestly mulliganed for parachute brigands, its the only reason i even played through with this deck, triple tyrant was the only saving grace, minimal card generation, not high quality minions nor many class cards and only 1 spell! Decent curve though almost always tempoed out.
I'd rather they just adjusted the stats closer to a 4/7 or 3/8... Instead they're using it as a balancing mechanism to boost rogue/shaman by increased offer rates to those classes >.> Convince me otherwise because they keep dropping them one after another on me.
I think Shudderwock just netted himself into Tier 1, possibly spot one in tier 1, and even possibly tier X. Edwins hero power on average is +3/+3 or +4/4 for 1 mana(upside he can boost non tribal minions like baron). Shudderwocks is now +4/4 and up to +4/4x6 (taunt compositions, murloc compositions) There was a reason his hero power costed 2. It'll be funny if pogo has to be moved up a tier or out completely when only one hero can abuse them.
Errr I do agree freezing trap can be a very tilting card, for example- you drew only 3 costs and up and your 3 is gonna have to value trade with 2s to save face but now its a 5 drop in your hand and you are already at 20 or less health and guaranteed to lose.. I think the number one key card that makes hunter better than all the others is its discover dragon Primordial Explorer gives it additional tempo advantage into their 4 drop while also losing no value... the 4/1 rush -almost- also does that too. Diving Gryphon
Other cards from Descent of Dragons aren't on this power level in terms of value and tempo with minimal or no synergy.
Nope, I just lost to this card and this card alone it swung the game in a complete 180, its a pyroblast in terms of how much damage it can do to you face if this one minion and its companion stick the next turn and it almost always has favorable trades to make if played on curve...

Bomb Warrior only makes up like 1% of the decks you will currently face :/ Especially a strict bomb warrior...

1 gold and he always attacks second, that way the opponent determines what gets thrown in... reward opponents for proper opponent planning.
