Honestly, need 1 more attack either on weapon or body. The card will probably lose on board and offers not enough of a buff to have good value. Cards like Naga Corsair, Southsea Squidface, and Goblin Auto-Barber all good stated minion that can impact the board and also give weapon buffs plus they had no prerequisite of combo meaning you won't typically play this card on three.

I don't think you can run flamestrike in Spiteful mage 7 drops are some of the worst stat value minions especially when cards like Blackhowl Gunspire are in the seven drop category which pretty close to do nothing unless you ping it and I think the highest stat line is like a 9/9 if you're lucky but you can also be given Lynessa a no stat 1/1. Probably better to use a 6 cost spell like meteor or blizzard low end on that is like a 4/4 gadgetzan.
