Would that make Brann and Warrior do a 10 damage battlecry to all enemies if they ever got their hands on the legendary :) I do think its cool though not too sure how good it will be though I feel like most DH decks aim for tempo and this feels like a very low tempo card for a later payout.
Jokes aside I love that they seem to go the demonic way with Warlock I like more traditional demon centric decks not some of the toxic and boring once we seen in more recent day. Nexus Prince seems cool gonna have to build a deck around him I think it can be pretty good in some decks.
Think Starship sounds weird but I also think its to early to really judge it, we just have to see when more info and cards gets revealed how the implemention will be.
You're joking. Most people need only an excuse to leave an overplayed netdeck and if the nerf makes it lose at least 1 round then it's not even little,
and it's not top tier even now; that's not the main problem with the deck; it makes the meta too fast.
Not top tier you do realize that highest version of the deck is sitting at a 72%+ winrate and the deck in total has the highest overall winrate of all decks right now. The deck is for sure top tier there is no question at all about that.
"The goal of these changes is to push back the average Big Spell turn a bit and to shave a little power from the deck, while allowing it to keep its core functionality."
They acutally know what the problem is but adds two changes that changes basiclly nothing of it, All my games against mage the last couple of weeks I can count on one hand the games where Skyla was apart of the power spike mostly its Surfaloped followed by either lucky draw or Watarcooler Artist. And almost every time a big offender is Metal Detector lets them contest the board at the same time as the gain resources to mana cheat.
And Surfaloped nobody cares that the body is 4/4 its not a slow down its merely a little weaker board presence but since you will have 4x3/6 elementals beating you down next turn often on turn 5 you dont really care that your body is abit weaker.
Turn 3 Metal Detector, Turn 4 coin+surfaloped, turn 5 Watercooler Artist boom and than it just spirals out of control. Thats like 9/10 games against big spell mage. And guess how many of those games that will be affected by these two changes non.
Really doubt that these nerfs will affect the game that much, a nerf isnt the death of a deck and nerfs arent there to kill decks either unlike popular beliefs. And decks that overperforms needs to be tuned down.
My last 10 games against Mage has all had 3/6 elementals spam starting already turn 5 and you cant outpace it them nerfing it makes sense. I also have tried the deck myself just to see how it is 9-0 vs high diamond/low Legend players. Of course the total results was 15-4 but dont count that 6-4 I had against the mirror.
Of course this is a very small sample size but it feels like I really need to severly screw up my game in order to lose against other decks than Mage itself.
Don't like the statline on it, I think with the effect it has it should have lower than 6 health it needs to be alittle easier to target down because already from just resummon the value is there to make it more than playable even if its a 4/4 minion.
Seems like they are pushing for some kind of big demon deck whatever it will be a success or not I have no clue at all, I'm not to impressed with any of these cards however. Feels like the control decks of the game have to the tools to deal with big stuff being thrown down turn 6-7 and the more aggressive once have almost already killed you once the big things start coming down.
My guess is it will be alittle to little and to late to be shaking up the meta of course I could be wrong but thats my thinking at least.
It won't be a top tier deck. Not sure why people are voting me down. It will be fun to play and that's it. But will never be used in Diamond or Legend ranked.
Not in a top tier deck and being one of the worst weapons ever printed is to very different things. Also quite sure this will see play in both of them even if it doesnt turn out to be a meta defining weapon.
People downvote valid ideas from time to time thats just how it is with that said. I do think you shouldnt sleep on cards like this a downside doesnt mean that its always that, Warlock for example have several cards with a downsides but in the right deck its an upside.
Worst weapon ever printed indicates its just plain bad which doesnt fit this weapon. In the right deck it can be pretty good and 3 swings with 3 damage isnt too bad health is also just a resource to be used and whatever your 30 or 15 health when your opponent dies doesnt matter as much.
I don't like to downvote or upvote much here so I'm not doing neither but I wouldnt agree with it being one of the worst weapons ever printed. Also the Cursed Blade wasnt that terrible in aggressive Warrior deck it was massive tempo which is more important for a tempo/aggro deck than health.
Worst cards are those that basiclly is worse than other similair cards in every way possible. If we're talking weapon I do remember Tentacles for Arms that was just plain aweful 2/2 for 5 mana the fact that the DR returned it to your hand didnt make it any less terrible.
Agency Espionage seems like high risk/high reward card, on one side you get alot of value smacked into your deck on the other you also polute the deck making it less consistent. I don't like cards like this for Rogue as long as "Shadowstep" is still apart of Standard should have been HoF'd years ago. But worth mention that in Cutlass Rogue this will most likely be quite good.
Robocaller is borderline broken on average I would say it will draw at least 2 cards with a 3/2 body for 3 mana, of course we're talking about a class that is used to be able to do 40 mana plays for 10 so it might still not see play but still this would be a instant include in alot of classes decks and I'm quite sure it will see play in Rogue aswell despite some Rogue players being mad about it being bad.
Sharp Shipment is really specific a weak card that will only see play in the right deck which would be the Cutlass one, also by being in the pool its a card that can be discovered etc so I do think the card will have some impact on the game even if its not one of the more popular once. And I really hope that Rogue doesnt turn into 95% Cutlass Rogues because I despite playing against that deck.
This could be really intresting with a combination Stargazing and drawing the galactic projection orb, casting it twice insane value I mean you just know it will be a great youtube clip of someone pulling it off and throwing 20 spells instead of 10 with it :)
Huddle Up I can totally see in a deck, its pretty much a full board for 7 mana with random Nagas, I could totally see myself throwing it into a Hiighlander Druid deck.
Burndown however I see no use of think both Mage and Druid have better draw cards in their library of possibilities, sure to act like a refuel for a more aggressive deck I guess it could work but anything else to restricted basiclly every Druid/Mage deck out there runs either high value cards or combo directed cards neither which you would want a burn effect on.
And when you can basiclly be down to less than 10 cards in your deck by turn 8-9 already draws isnt really something that is hold in the classes back.
I think its fine buffing 2 minions per turn and 3 health makes it a good target for alot of spells/target things in the game if it had 4 health it would be bad but that effect for 2 mana is alright. Compare it to for example Flametongue, I would argue that Flametongue is better in more situations than this is and its not a card thats a problem. It could trigger a comeback of a totem focused Shaman though thats something.
I kinda like this card even if I hate the old Totem decks Shamans had but I do think this fits Shaman nicely and it doesnt feel broken or anything.
Warrior already have great ways of getting armor, doubt that Alloy Adviser will see any play also you dont really want to add this into your mech pool of possible revivals and for Hunter hm usally Hunter decks plays more agressive in a control type of Hunter maybe but still I have a hard time seeing a Hunter that goes fully in on just surviving and controlling its opponent the class is too aggressive in its nature too do that.
Reserved Spot I feel is the same way not a big enough of a swing card to make you build a deck around it. For Hunter I can't really say for sure if there is any spot for it or not but I do know there has been some Hunter decks that perform decent with mostly spells so could be a chance you could get a big charge beast thats huge with it and cheap making a combo type of Hunter deck of course that is a possibility with warrior aswell and Grom + Copy pasta but somewhere I really hope this isnt the case combo decks are often the most obnoxious decks to face.

Kinda disapointed we don't see a few more nerfs and buffs.
But I do agree that Mage needed the nerf, personally though I would target Metal Detector over Skyla.
