Wow what the fuck I literally made an 11-cost 15/15 and was about to post it then thought "I'll check the other submissions" and bam literally the same card but with a different minion type tag.
Looking at the cards outside their week's theme really puts them into perspective, most of these got a resounding "meh" from me. I voted for the frogs because they're a satisfying cycle, Rain of Fire for mechanics and Black Cat for theme.
That's only if they spend ALL their mana crystals ie 5 cost minion on turn 5. Doesn't work if they for example spend 3 mana on a spell then the last 2 mana on a minion.
Gives use for Sacrificial Pact, can't revive non-Demon minions that died earlier in the game but opponent can play around it by summoning weak minions (eg tokens)
Helps activate Combo and gives a reason to play Spell Damage. Lets you play a higher ratio of spells without playing worse ones. Can take away quite a bit of your mana if you draw it lots so you'll still want to find a use for the spell cast, combo activation or gain spell damage to make it worth.
I have to agree that Black Illusion Ritual is absurdly powerful. The flavour is great which is probably why it has so many votes but balance wise it's a nightmare. There's literally no way for your opponent to play around it; once you complete the quest you win. And it's very easy to complete. Doesn't even matter if you're throwing away mana, once you get to Relinquished it's done.
At the very least it should NOT be a demon. It barely looks like one anyway and there's too much ridiculous synergy (mainly the warlock DK hero)
