They added Boulderfist Ogre to Battlegrounds... as a Legendary minion 🫠🫠

Some wouldn‘t agree with me because they feel like the card should never have been named Illidan at all anyway (too weak in power) but I believe that it was what it was and if Blizzard brings back a mode to celebrate nostalgia, reverting card identity changes such as this one should be considered for the sake of authenticity 😇

I haven‘t seen that in the post 🧐... I actually thought they mentioned that cosmetic changes won‘t be reverted? That‘s what they said about Felstalker for the least 😟

A personal goal that I‘d been striving after for a few years now was to beat heroic Lord Victor Nefarius without letting him activate his hero power.

With the addition of Lightning Bloom, I finally managed to pull it off this September 😁

It was a glorious moment and I’m kinda proud because I got it on video 😂

This is so true! Young Jaina should at least sound like young Jaina. Can‘t understand why they wouldn’t take the voicelines from the adventure here :(

As is, it is very disappointing imho...

It is true, combo boar hunter works unexpectedly well for me too!

I love tinkering around with my collection and I rarely rely on deck lists, and usually that leads me to decks that are of course not very viable (since I probably am overwhelmed with the task but it is fun nonetheless).

However, I‘ve recently built a deck revolving around the same combo we‘re talking about here, and I was surprised on how far it got me. I am now on Diamond 7 and that is further than I‘ve ever gotten with a self-tinkered deck!

Also, it is very funny to squish arrogant Priests with a Silence and four 11/11 boars (I‘m a wild player) :D

And just like fellow SirJohn13 up there, I believe this deck is not really common (I have never even encountered one mirror match since I started my climb) and it must be very impressive to encounter the full power of the working combo for the first time :P

I mean, people don‘t really expect boar OTKs these days ^^

The art on this one is dope :O !

Far better than that of the rogue hero version, if you ask me.

Still can‘t understand why this doesn‘t use the Inspire keyword. Without it, this card lacks style.

I always used to like Soggoth the Slitherer, it was my first WotoG legendary (apart from C‘Thun of course ^^) and I‘ve tried to use it in my decks a lot of times. Now that the arena rules have changed to make it available again, I was very thrilled to see it appear in my latest draft! 

Having insta picked it, turns out Soggoth isn’t good enough for arena anymore.. I was able to play him in no more than three different games, and not a single of those I was able to win. I went a shameful 1-3!

Alright, a bad arena run isn‘t the end of the world..

But there is something about this run that makes me very, very sad and angry at the same time! My old love, Soggoth the Slitherer, who also happened to be the card I was so happy to pick in that disastrous draft, has died to the very same card EACH. AND. EVERY. TIME. 

And that card is Burly Shovelfist.

This drives me immensely mad! How can a massive 9 mana elusive LEGENDARY taunt minion be killed by a COMMON Shovelfist?! Heck, the fist even SURVIVES the attack with a whopping 4 health!!! I feel very, very bad for Soggoth and wish that Burly Shovelfist one day will get nerfed into the ground for this.

I mean, back in the TGT days, Icehowl was a legendary for being an early incarnation of a huge rush minion (with the downside of NEVER being able to attack heroes)! Nowadays, anyone can do that or what?!?

Same thing as with Icehowl happened not far ago to a card named Princess Huhuran. It, too, was dismantled by better rare/common cards with the same effect (Terrorscale Stalker and Play Dead).

I am infuriated!! Blizz can‘t just print common nobody minions that directly outclass old legends!!! Why do they do this? It makes playing legendaries feel like playing weak minions! They spit on their own past!

Just noticed they changed Ancient Curse to fit with the new expansion. The mana cost was increased to (4), and it's card text now reads 'Cast this when drawn'. (similar to Fal'dorei Strider's Spider Ambush!).

The new thing there is that it actually DOES deal damage if, for some reason, you cast it from your hand (unlike the old 0 mana do nothing spell...) This is a LOT funnier if your opponent has to deal with it after Thoughtsteal ;D!

I couldn't check up on Burrowing Mine and Nerubian Ambush!, since I don't own Iron Juggernaut and Beneath the Grounds... Does anyone know if they were changed too?
