I had an idea I had a while back to make Hearthstone a little less pay2win. A dust to gold converter. This would help with the useless dust you sometimes get from arena, or make getting cards easier than just hoping you get the cards you want out of packs. I was thinking that 1 gold=1 dust. This is because 100 gold = ~40 dust when you open a pack (1 rare, 4 commons). However you could get a card you need and the pack's value would increase immensely. My method gives you 100 dust for 100 gold, basically 100 gold for a rare, but it could be any rare you want, making it better value than opening a pack, but a pack has a chance to have something awesome in it (legendary, epic). What do you guys think?
Sort of. You see, Thalnos is used that way, and you are correct, a kobold or a wild pyro does replace him well. However, the reason thalnos is such a high quality card is because it does that and more, it draws you a card. It's like having a loot hoarder and a kobold rolled into one. This frees up an extra slot in your deck and makes thalnos EXTREMELY mana and card efficent.
I think that Doomsayer is great against aggro decks as well. This is because it either stops 7 damage from hitting you in the face, and maybe even draw out some removal like a soulfire if you're playing against aggro warlock. Otherwise it wipes the opponent's board.

Unfotrunate, would blizzard prefer 200 gold=100 dust?

Remember Trump's Priest deck at BlizzCon? When he bm'd Artosis's argent protector after a Shadow Madness?

Finally someone else who uses snake traps in their deck!

I've noticed that Leeroy is usually the best first legendary to craft, as it is the legendary I see most often as the only legendary in a deck.

Thoughts on running doomsayer against aggro?
