Since Druid sucks Rogue isn't a class I enjoy playing and I didn't really feel like warlock or Warrior cards were super worth it I've basically been Hunter all four times. Even doing that I haven't seen a single Chronoshot :/

I'm not great at arena (around 3 wins average), but I just wanted to say that even if you don't like Rogue in constructed, you should give it a shot in arena.  I don't like rogue in constructed either, as I don't care for combo decks or 'solitaire-style' decks.  The only rogue decks I play in constructed are burglary-focused.  In arena, though, rogue seems to be more of a tempo deck, focused on playing on-curve minions and cheap spell answers.  To me, it plays differently than the popular constructed rogue decks do, so I'd recommend giving it a shot, especially since it's always been one of the top arena classes.  I used to avoid it like you did, but reluctantly played it in one of the last events (the one with wild cards in arena).  It was only my third run as a rogue in arena, but I got 12 wins with it, with this deck.  Note that it's primarily just full of decent minions...there wasn't much to it aside from that.

    posted a message on F2P - Opening packs - Got a Legendary! Oh wait...its....you

I was super-excited when I got my first double legendary pack back in 2016.  The legendaries turned out to be Tinkmaster Overspark and a golden Millhouse.  Given how many classic legendaries I was missing at the time, I was not happy.  I eventually turned golden Millhouse into Alexstrasza, though, after I decided that even though I like collecting, I didn't need golden Millhouse in my collection.

Pumpkin Peasant Rating 3(Average): I like the concept of swapping Attack/Health and it makes perfect sense that they applied it to a Worgen in this way. If I understand it correctly it should still be the initial 2/4 if you play it on curve, but you could Coin it out as a 4/2 on turn 2. Otherwise you would have to wait until at least turn 4 to get the Worgen version of the card.

I'm not sure you need to wait to turn 4 to get the Worgen version.  I think if you draw this on turn 2, you'll have the Worgen version on turn 3.

posted a message on 12 Win Decklists.

Was just trying to set up a run to have 2 losses before it would be retired, but ended up winning out after an initial loss.  It was my first 12-win run, and only third run ever with Rogue (I rarely play arena).  I was hoping for 3-4 wins after I drafted it, so this was a complete surprise.  I got a little lucky (MCT saved me in one game, taking their best minion), but the poison cards and Runeforge Haunter carried me:

    12-win rogue
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (25) Ability (4) Weapon (1)

posted a message on [WILD] +85% Winrate

Went 5-3 in Brawliseum with this.  Lost a close game to a control warlock, and got smashed by two big priests.  Better than I'd done in other regions with my own decks, so I'll take it.

the additional cards seem to have "diluted" the card pool, and also seem to have completely messed up synergy in building a deck.

It's about expectations.  The effect you describe above was super predictable.  I expected it, so it didn't disappoint so much.  I think in general we all were feeling a little over-hyped about wild arena.  It's arena with wild cards, that's it.  Curvestone was inevitable.  I'm better at it than standard, probably because I don't play enough to be good with more nuanced decks, I can admit it.

Even next week's Brawliseum is bound to disappoint.  It's just broken wild decks you can play in ranked now.  Playing in arena format for prizes is a nice novelty, but it's not any more exciting than that.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to the Brawliseum at all.  I'm on the fence about even playing it - do I suffer through three humiliating losses just to take the chance of winning a game or two (which is probably going to be my ceiling), or do I just retire the initial deck, take my prize, but breathe easy at not having to get stomped three games in a row?  If I played, it'd probably be a Reno deck...I hate aggro and combo decks, so I won't play as them.

posted a message on Wildfest Stories

Played one arena in EU region as mage, with this deck.  Went a quick 0-2 against two shamans, starting with coin both games (that's 7 arena matches in a row I've gotten the coin now, incidentally).  First game I quickly had my opponent down to 11 health and had control of the board, but he gained some armor to get out of lethal range and then cast a fully loaded Sapphire Spellstone on a Cobalt Scalebane.  Not good, but it wasn't over yet...I killed one, damaged another, had a taunt out...and then he cast another fully loaded Sapphire Spellstone on it, so he had five of them.  Fun times.  I had no way out of that.

Second game, it was pretty even until my opponent milled out most of my deck via my Fel Reaver, evolved his board to get Hallazeal, then cast Volcano to clear the board and get himself to full health.  I still almost managed to get him down with my last three cards since I had two Daring Reporters and he was top-decking, but was done in by fatigue after I got him back down to 11 health.

I've got one more loss to go, so I could try one more time to salvage the run, but I think I'll just let it sit and be auto-retired when the event's over.  I'm not having fun, so I don't really want to finish it and have to draft another to be auto-retired (since I feel obligated to have SOMETHING there to be auto-retired).

posted a message on Should blizzard ban arena drafting helpers?

I think is all a pointless discussion, because I don't think it's possible for Blizz to detect that these tools are being used.  Lightforge is effectively just a spreadsheet to look at.  And when I use Heartharena, I make draft choices on my phone while using Heartharena on my PC.  Good luck detecting the use of those.

And in any case, I think the arena player pool has shrunk to the point where most remaining players are experienced, and they don't need to get advice picks. This isn't a big deal anymore.

posted a message on Poll: Should we keep the dual class Arena around?

I like it, but the arena playerbase is too small to divide it up.  I'd rather Blizzard have more 'special' arena weeks like this, preferably at least once a month. And it doesn't have to be dual class.  They could have a week where wild cards are included again, or Naxx cards are included, or spell choices are higher-chance, or some random constant effect is always in play, etc.

posted a message on Arena - has anyone had better luck in some regions than others?

Ok, I know this has been asked before, but I didn't see any recent threads.  Does anyone play arena in multiple regions and, if so, track their separate records in each region?  I don't play arena a lot - my average is only 3, and closer to 2.75 since Un'Goro, so it's not a good use of gold and time for me.  However, I do play occasionally when the mood strikes me, and I started tracking the region in my notes for each run.  Here are my W/L records this year, broken down by region (including a few runs in progress):

    EU - 10-16
    Asia - 30-18
    NA - 17-21

I know that results may depend somwhat on the time you play, and I tend to play Asia in the morning (US CDT time), Europe in afternoon, and NA in evening.  Playtime is fairly equally divided between weekends and weekdays. So, I figure I'm hitting evening times for each region, so they should be roughly comparable.  That said, I was surprised by my record in Asia compared to the other regions, and was curious as to whether anyone else has seen similar numbers. Maybe it's just luck - there probably aren't enough runs to judge it fairly.

Hello guys,i want to craft one legendary..I am between DK druid,DK warlock,Sindragosa and Tarim.

I don't have an opinion other than to say I opened Sindragosa, and she's way too slow to be fun. Any of the other three are fine, but I wouldn't craft Sindragosa if I didn't have her.

posted a message on Decks you like to play even if you lose

Most of my favorite decks have a sub-50% winning percentage - Yogg Mage, Renounce Warlock, Burglary Rogue...only Theft Priest does decently, and it might still be under 50%. I use the concede button liberally, though, so I don't waste time on matches that are already lost causes at turn 5.

Has anyone been using this card in constructed?  I tossed two of these into a burglary/grinder sort of rogue deck where I don't often use my weapon, and he's been pretty useful so far, but I'm only playing at low ranks. I'm curious as to whether anyone at higher ranks has found him useful.

Finished my 65-score Paladin run in Europe.  Went 2-3 (including the free win), so that sucked. Never drew the one Spikeridged Steed I had, played Dinosize once to clear two large minions, but was already too far behind by that point.  Played Bright eyed Scout three times, and it made a cheap card more expensive each time. In general, two losses occurred because I had too many expensive cards in my hand early on (even though I had plenty of smaller drops), and the other loss, my opponent went first and played minions on curve, better minions than what I played on curve. Got a pack and a single card for my reward, so not even any gold. Seriously, f*** arena.

posted a message on Non-arena players who played arena for the festival: share your experiences

Tried today since last week everyone was saying how easy it was, so I wanted to try playing the same day the tickets were given out. Was given a choice of Warrior, Warlock, or Shaman, so not a good start.  I picked warrior since I keep seeing people saying it's better now that microchanges are giving it more weapons. Well, I was offered only one FWA, so not what I was hoping for. Still, overall tier score of 68, so not bad. Only 3 spells, though...two executes and a whirlwind.

First game, I played a paladin and was winning easily.  I had him down to 1 health, while I was still in my upper 20's and had 3 minions on the board...and then he put down Soggoth. He slowly took control of the board after that, and with an abundance of taunts, I couldn't finish him. 0-1.

Second game, I won easily against a priest. 1-1.

Third game, another priest, this one playing taunt after taunt after taunt. I started off well when I dropped a Frothing Berserker and cleared the board on turn 5, but he dropped a Frozen Crusher, followed by a Blazecaller and a parade of Tortollians. I couldn't get through them all and ended up losing again. 1-2.

Can't say I'm seeing where all the easy games are, though my decks aren't helping. I drafted a deck in Europe also, and was finally offered paladin, which I jumped on...and then I was offered very few of the good cards I always see my paladin opponents use.  No Vinecleaver, one Spikeridge Steed and one Dinosize...tier score of 65 for that one.  I'll probably win 2-3, but not sure it'll do better. Never lucky.
