Yeah, I'm guessing they'll have warlock and hunter decks, at least, in the final reveal since so many of them haven't been shown yet.

Not terrible, but I've used Betrayal enough to know that it's usually not a game saver, so I don't think this will be either.

Edit - Just realized the minion only attacks one of its neighbors.  Ok, it's worse than I thought, probably not playable.

Of the ones you've mentioned, Velen is probably the best, but I think Ixlid is more fun, when you can get him to go off.  I haven't played with Glinda, so can't comment on her.

So, in the end, I finished 11 arena runs (across two accounts and three regions) with an average of 4.64 wins, which is pretty good for me.  Highlights were a 10-win druid (with no UI, strangely enough) and a 9-win paladin. 

I played Mage the most, but only topped out at 6 wins twice.  Had one Mage deck with 5 Steam Surgers and 3 Blizzards, and I'd expected great things from it, but it lost once to aggro and twice where I only drew one of those cards in the first half of my deck.  I also found Blizzard to be harder to use than I'd expected...it's expensive enough that if I didn't have a board, it was mostly just a stall, because 2 damage didn't kill much.  Most of my mage decks didn't have Cavern Dreamer, and when I did get him once, he kept giving me useless spells (Deadly Poison, Totemic Might, Sense Demons...I got 'em all).

With regards to regions, I really struggled in Asia.  I averaged 2.4 wins in Asia over 5 runs, 5.7 wins in EU over 3 runs, and 7.3 in NA over 3 runs.  All tiny data points, but I was surprised, because in the past Asia was where I usually did best.  

I liked this event, but I think I'm done with arena until the next expansion.  The small card pool that exists in Standard now doesn't really appeal to me.

I have a 7-5 record against paladins overall in this event, but I swear, every time I lose to them it's because of Silver Sword. In my last loss (ending a Mage run at 4 wins), I cleared my opponent's board three times while he was using that sword, and he kept managing to refill with decent minions (a Primordial Drake and hero power, at the end).  The attack, the durability, the effect...altogether, I think they're too strong.  I feel like a 1 attack sword with that durability, cost, and effect would be more fair.

As someone who plays way below you guys (18-23), I'd just add that I've found the going a lot easier this season...a lot fewer netdecks encountered.  It might be coincidence, but I'm suspecting that the higher-tier decks are advancing those players farther than the monthly reset is pushing them back, meaning they're gradually climbing higher each month.  This would mean you're going to run into more and more of the better decks in higher ranks as the months go on.

In three mage runs, I've actually only been offered CD once.  I took him, obviously.  That run only went 4-3, and he really only carried one win.  In the other games, I only drew him twice.  Once he was killed right away, the other time he survived a few turns but didn't give me any useful spells in a game I ended up narrowly losing.

That said, even though I haven't seen him in my other drafts, I did end up with three Blizzards and five Steam Surgers in a draft that's currently 6-1, so I'm not complaining.

I drafted two Possibility Seekers and a Timebound Giant, but in several games so far I've yet to draw the Giant.  Similarly, I've had a few decks with two Infinite Murlocs, but never managed to get them higher than 3/3, even with Possibility Seekers.  Maybe the Grasp the Future cards or extra Infinite Murlocs will push you over the top...I'll be really curious to see how well this works out.

Drafted a shaman deck with 3 Masters of Reality, a decent curve, and 3 AOEs (one Lightning Storm and two Volcano).  Still started 0-2.

I lost the first to a druid who hit me with spreading plague (they got 4 scarabs) to protect a Cobalt Scalebane, while I had a board with lots of weaker minions. I killed two scarabs, but they followed that up with a charging Druid of the Claw and Savage Roar to finish me off.  I never drew any AOE, despite having two Possibility Seekers.

The second was a loss to a paladin who swarmed the board early. Again I tried Possibility Seeker in a desperate attempt to get an AOE, and again I struck out, as it replaced by hand with all three Masters of Reality, a Fire Elemental, and a Bone Drake...all my expensive cards.

Beat a warlock in my next game, so at least I won't go 0-3, but matches definitely seem more difficult than they did last week. I feel like my opponents all had better card quality than me in the early game. The warlock just had too many spells and not enough minions.

I like this event, but it seems like it's either getting harder (because casual players have used their free tickets up and aren't as common), or else I'm hitting a streak of bad luck.  Either way, I'm not doing as well as I was last week.

I got a free ticket in each region.  I haven't heard anything about additional tickets being given out, though.  I'd think it would be a possibility in an event of this length, but who knows.

Playing a paladin as a mage at 2-0, I got their health down to 15 early, then tried to hold on as they came back. They played Murozond and slowly started taking over the board courtesy of their extra card draw. I held them at bay as best I could, chipping their life down into single digits.  Finally, they played a Silver Sword and started emoting BM as they pumped their minions and cleared my minions with their face in preparation for rushing me down.  I then hit them with a Blizzard, followed by a top-decked Frost Nova next turn, and watched as they hit fatigue from their extra card draw and died. I love beating Silver Sword-bearing paladins.

 I beat someone with a Splintergraft in their deck yesterday.  They used it on a Fairy Dragon, but were never able to play it.

As a priest, just played (and lost) to a mage with 3 (!) Stasis Dragons, 3 Cavern Dreamers (each of which I killed after one turn, but which gave him key cards), along with other big guys like a Violet Wurm, Deranged Doctor, etc.  No idea how I survived through 20 cards like I did, but with that many big cards, I think they'll have an issue against someone who gets a better curve than I did.

My favorite moment so far was as a priest, playing hunter, I played Reminisce immediately after he'd removed a threat with his Infinite Wolf.  I got an Infinite Wolf out of it and removed HIS threat, and on the game went.  Sadly, I didn't draw another...it would've been entertaining to keep beating him with it.  But, I won regardless.
